Pov: carol
Forbidden loveSeas, lands and skys stretched between us. We stood staring at the same moon, thinking the same thoughts, though, we would also see the same sun rise the next morning, as I would face away from it. Its warmth being over turned by the nebulae of air I could depict upon its raise, as I turned from you those many moons ago; the only sun I had room for in my life.
Though, presently you stood still staring at the sun, chained by your own sorrow, hoping it would blind you. Granted, it would not. A tranquil thought was one where you no longer would have to see the unbearable nirvana of me in your memory. Was it a curse, or a blessing?
You knew the sun would never blind you, its kindness ever lasting, or its crimes forever unforgivable, either way, you would travel once more towards the demons that lurked within the darkness of your baron room, taunting you; how they could hide forever, but be united. The persuasion of your mind was loud, alas, it grew tired from your hearts deafening cries. A fist was the same size of a heart, and how you yearned to clasp all my love, to intertwine our souls like our hands once did in secret. The serenity that clutched alongside those nights was the lullaby you said my voice was for you, a melody to your ears, one murmur and a flock of doves would lace the sky’s you knew, drugged by the eliminate of my tunes. Words that once clasped my lips now surrounded your each thought, temporarily moulding the demons into silhouettes of angels, angels of mercy.
Among this, she began her recurrent ascent into the bruising sky, clouds now her footstools, causing it to erupt into flames. She forced you every evening, every morning, to lay your mist glazed eyes upon her, the illusion of gold flakes sprinkling on them, due to the simple fact that you knew she would visit you. Though, every evening, every morning, your blissful wish of me being the sun that would greet you would be overcast by clouds of grief, as you knew I wouldn't. As I had my own galaxy to keep a lit, and you my darling, your own small world to rotate around. But as we hope to deny the fatality of it all, we must keep ourselves from the eclipse we would wish to have. You, my moon, and I your sun, cannot cast shadows on parts of each others worlds of hectic. We must carry on, knowing the moon bathes in the light of her star, content to ever-reflect from it, now ever more beautiful than even the stars around. though the sun will eventually burn out with the moon by its side, not caring about its effect on leaving her world; the restless loyalty you have.
As you and I, they are destined to live within the same galaxy, an abyss of darkness, hiding their desire for each others warmth. Only the light from stars of our elusive dreams allowing us to see one another.
Soon, they would fade from existence as well, still holding onto belief till death do them part, that we will one day eclipse, despite it never was to be. As, The earth will still rotate the sun, still shining, perfect as she is, though no one knows its raise want only those few hours to shine upon her moon, a silver ballerina turning pirouettes with perfect form, to keep her bright and confident, though always under the nights dark hue. Like black angel wings keeping us warm with its feathers of love, unlike the frozen hearts of many who wish our love to shatter like ice. Albeit, each day, the Earth would need the suns brightness once more, separating the two lovers till the next night. Its darkness a different sort, as it holds us close until dawn, our own vast velvet cloak that could hide us away from the matching darkness of society's souls, a friendly blackness that allows our dreams to take centre stage.
Darling, the sun as I, will never grow tired, as she still gleams upon her dear planets as I do my family, hoping one day, to shine upon her moon without the worlds attached.
I love you, my dearest, but keep to your world, I shall too, and hopefully one day, we will reunite within our own everlasting galaxy. To roam free amid the mother of the sky whom watches over every beating heart. Allowed to hold tight onto each others grasp like all lovers, free from the shackles of shame that trail behind our each step, their strong chains forcing us to keep to the restricted hours of the night, where only the warm milky glow that was the ever shine of the moon seemed to keep our love from dimming. You cannot forever be content to reflect of the pure rays of beauty that was the star of the daytime, the star you so yearned to be yours. As you knew I could not, and never will be, truly yours.
