"It's a little bit basic" Jisung stated as y/n mentally rolled her eyes. They were seated in a classic cafe, each with a tall drink and a small pastry. They had some scrunched papers laid out in front of their petit table, as well as a slick silver MacBook for them both to see from. The two were minding their own business, but quickly garnered stares from other tables. It admittedly made y/n very self-conscious, as she didn't like to have the attention on her all the time. Even if she knew it wasn't directed at her. Everyone was admiring the famous Jisung. Son of a very influential family.

Despite the distractions, for the next hour and a half the two diligently worked, improving on the others ideas and correcting each others mistakes. They thought alike enough for them to make a pretty good team, and they were both pretty hard-workers.

"Thank you for being a good partner" y/n thanked him at the end, pulling out her wallet so she could pay him her half of their meal.

Jisung waved his hands in front of him, "Ah, no. You were the good partner, you really helped me. I'm really sorry about Yuta by the way, he just really doesn't care, I feel like I should've told him off better though. Also, I've paid for your meal, so don't worry."

"It's alright, he seems like the stubborn type, and like you said he doesn't care, so I don't think he would've listened to you anyway. But are you sure you don't want me to pay?"

"I promise it's fine." Jisung insistently nodded his head, a mellow smile on his face.

"Ok, thank you." Y/n grinned, her eyes shaped as a rainbow as she retracted her hand and placed her wallet securely back in her small bag. "I'm going to have to go now, I have somewhere to be soon"

"I can drive you there."

"Really? Isn't it too much of a hassle."

"𝘈𝘪𝘴𝘩, y/n you have to stop worrying so much. It's fine, really. I'll call my driver to drop you off." The pretty boy waved her off, pulling out his phone already calling his driver.

----

In the car they tried to make conversation.

"Do you like red bean buns or custard buns better?" Jisung randomly asked

"Custard buns." Y/n answered with no hesitation

"Is the butt one or two?" the boy pondered aloud

"Hm, one I guess? Since you don't say 'butts' but you say 'butt' as if it were singular" y/n genuinely thought, giggling slightly at the absurdity. Jisung had asked her many strange questions during the long car ride, but it was making her enjoy his company a little bit more.

"Hey y/n? Since we seem closer after the project, I was wondering if you're busy this weekend?" Jisung asked, a sweet smile on his face. "My friend Jaemin is hosting a party, I was wondering if you'd like to join me?"

Y/n's face instantly flushed at the idea of going to a party with Jisung. All she could picture was drunk teenagers grinding up on each other in cheap and sleazy clothing. Her heart pounded at the idea, as the only parties she went to was small birthday parties that consisted of wholesome activities. But she didn't want to get too ahead of herself, and was excited at the idea. She also had a mission to get Jisung to like her, so she agreed to going to the party.

"I can't wait. What's the address?"

"I-I can pick you up again, if you'd like?" Jisung timidly suggested, scratching the back of his head. Y/n nodded, keen at the idea.

----

Eventually y/n was dropped off at a towering building, the lights flashing from inside. She dialled in a couple of digits, waiting for her to be buzzed in. She entered, passing a clump of security guards as she found her way to the room she was supposed to be in. When she entered in her cropped top and jogging bottoms, Soobin and Taehyun were already waiting for her, beads of sweat pouring from the sides of their faces, coating the thin strands of their hair.

"So I'm here since Taehyun said he thought you improved" Soobin stated, causing Taehyun to nod. "Alright, lets see what you got y/n!" He stood back, watching the two as y/n stood up from her stretching position and launched herself at Taehyun. The two wrestled and dodged each others punches, desperately trying to defeat the other. Eventually Taehyun had successfully pinned y/n down to the mat, his heavy breathing lightly blowing on her face as they regained their breathe. He managed to flip her around in the middle of her performing a trick, and positioned himself over her preventing her from wiggling her way out.

"Well, Taehyun wasn't wrong at all. You've improved a ton for the time given! It's only been less than a month but you're slightly stronger. It's a short amount of time so you still need to work on your basic skills and continue exercising, but for now, it's good!" The leader gave honest feedback encouraging his teammates to continue their hard doings. He was forever appreciative of all his member's contributions towards TXT. The three of them slumped down onto the floor, each downing large amounts of water.

"So did Jisung say anything today? You guys met up for school work, right?" Taehyun asked on behalf of both him and Soobin, as their curiosity was eating them inside.

"Well, he did mention a party. I think he said it was Jaemin's. From what I remember, he's a member of NCT, right?"

"That's right. So Jisung invited you to Jaemin's party? That's interesting. I thought it was fairly obvious Jaemin doesn't like us? Maybe he thought that he wouldn't recognise you or something? Aside from that, I'm not surprised Jaemin's throwing the party at all. He's notoriously known in our school area for throwing some great parties with even celebrities and rich people attending. He usually throws the parties for the NCT members, since his family probably has very good connections. We've all heard rumours about them being really fun, I wonder if the hype is actually true." Soobin documented, letting out a sigh.

"Really? Well, now I'm even more nervous." Y/n mumbled whilst fiddling with her water bottle.

Soobin gently touched her arm with his warm hand, "It's fine y/n, really. It's only a couple of hours long and you'll be following someone who's fairly experienced with these parties, which is Jisung of course, since he invited you as a +1. Just smile and be friendly, it'll be ok." Y/n and Taehyun collectively smiled at their leaders true words. A party wasn't the worst thing in the world, y/n knew that, but she needed reassurance from a 3rd figure.

"Hmp, you're right. I've got this."
