Dawn groans as she tried lifting herself up from whatever she was laying on they gazed around eyebrows furrowed as she noticed she was in a cottage, not in a prison or even outside, in a cozy looking cottage.
Dawn felt a spike of pain from a headache and groans again as she got up from the bed she stumbled slightly twords a door her gaze lingering on the ground as she rubbed her head.

Opening the door they find a short hallway and makes their way twords the living room hearing soft humming from there.

Dawnstorm watched as Evening sky stirring some soup.

"Eve?" Evening turns around and let's out a sigh of relief.

"Oh by the gods I thaught you where dead, asleep for almost ah 15 hours." Evening ski approaches Dawn and begans checking for a fever "you seem fine," she paused then hits Dawn slightly soft.

"Ow-"

"You deserve that after almost getting yourself killed from fighting against the Crimson kingdom are you serious?" Eve rolls her eyes "don't do stupid things"

"It's kinda my thing apparently" Dawn chuckles nervously "ya I do deserve that hah" They paused "uh what day is it?" She looked out the kitchen window.

"Almost mid day, you had a tough fight yesterday, I heard the ruckus and when I got close I saw you get shot out of the sky, saved your ass tho, your welcome that I'm fast" Eve said jokingly making Dawn chuckle.

"Thanks Eve, you saved my life, I owe ya one" they said nodding in appreciation.

"Heh, You hungry? Made some potato soup" Dawn perks up.

"Oh I love potato soup!"

Orchid kiss walked into the battle tent with her sister at her side. "hello King Seer" Orchid bows to the dragon king as he bows back.

King Seer raised up "we where attacked near the western part of the mountain, it was a ambush on our scouting team" he explains the situation

"Did any of the scouts survive?" Ebony asked head raised as he gaze held worry.

Seer shakes his head "none, the guards set up near there heard the commotion and called for backup" Ebony sighs.

"Any clue why the Crimson empire wanted to attack there anyways?" Orchid asked and Seer nods.

"We had taken a prisoner and found out it was due to a previous attack party that was heading to your kingdom, if we hadn't blocked their path, Esteria would have been gone" Orchid looked shocked.

"They are trying to take the land, we must make sure that doesn't happen, Scarlet streak" Orchid turns around facing her guard "Call for the hippogriffs help, if they refuse remind them about when we helped them in times of need" the pegasus guard nods and leaves the camp taking off for a long journey.

Orchid turns back around "a dark time is coming, we must prepare" Seer nods in agreement before hesitantly speaking.

"Also, some guess had reported to me that Princess Dawnstorm had appeared during the battle before dissipearing into the lands below" Orchid and Ebony inhale sharply.

"Has a search team started looking for them?" Asked Ebony

"Yes, no signs of them tho, we think they either might have been captured or went somewhere safe" Seer explains

Orchid looks down sadily and sighs "keep the search mission up, meanwhile we need to figure out our plans of attack" Orchid said as she looked back up "we can't let him win"

Dawn and Evening finished eating Dawn had thanked her over a million times.

"Again it's fine, it's what freinds do" Evening chuckles "tho I have someone I want you to meet" Evening got up Dawn perks her head up tilting it.

'oh? Who?"

"fallow me" Evening gets up Ruffling her wings abit as Dawn nods and pushed herself up before fallowing the pegasi.

Evening left the house Dawn in tow as they head twords a large barn that was abit larger than the cottage.

"When we first met I told my friend about you, and he brought up a topic that you need hear out" Evening said worry in her voice.

"What?"

Evening paused before opening the barn and sighs looking at Dawn. "My friend is a ancient dragon, he's like large, almost as big as the cottage, when I mentioned you, he freaked out saying he needed to speak with you, that it was time for the rise of the crimson empire" Dawn looks shocked at Evening words. "He can explain it"

And with that Evening unlocked the door and pushed it open Dawn steps in and they watch as a large dragon lifts their head.
