It's one of those boring days at school. Jaden and his friends are hanging out smoking in the hallways again. The principal sees them and walks up to them.

Principal: Really again Jaden
Jaden: oh what's up dude
Principal: okay hand them over
Jaden: Come on don't be such a square
Principal: Jaden now
Jaden: whatever (gives him the cigarettes)
Principal: Class now.
Jaden: okay see you guys

Jaden goes to class and gets out a cigarette and lights it. The teacher rolls her eyes and sighs.

Teacher: anyways we have a new student with us. Her name is Janessa Barrett
Nessa: (walks in) actually I go by Nessa please
Teacher: okay sorry Nessa Barrett
Jaden: (sees her and thinks she's hot)
Teacher: cute outfit
Nessa: thank you I guess

Teacher: okay you may have a seat next to Jaden
Nessa: What next to the drug boy
Teacher: yeah I'm sorry. I feel bad for you too
Nessa: it's fine (goes sits down)
Jaden: hey pretty girl
Nessa: hey I guess
Jaden: cute clothes
Nessa: okay thank you

Class resumes and 30 minutes later class is over and the bell rings. Nessa goes to her locker and Nessa walks up to her.

Jaden: hey chicky
Nessa: umm hey
Jaden: (turns her around) so how about I say we should go out
Nessa: (smiles) (gets closer to his face) I'm not going to be one of your hoes or bitches or whores what ever you call it go out with you. So with it saying over my dead body (walks away)
Jaden: (smirks) fucking hottie

It's lunch/break time and everybody's outside. Jaden is with his friends and some girls and Nessa is sitting alone looking all sad. Nessa has really bad anxiety and she feels like everybody's looking at her. Jaden notices and worries because he used to have those. He goes over to her and pulls her to the side. Nessa's hands are shaking and heavy breathing.

Jaden: hey. Shhhh. It's okay (holds her hands together) Breathe
Nessa: (starts breathing and calms down a bit and her hands are still shaking)
Jaden: okay what do you like to do
Nessa: sing, wright songs why
Jaden: Sing a song you wrote out loud
Nessa: okay (starts singing "Scare myself")
Jaden: (amazed by her voice and smiles s little)
Nessa: (calms down) thank you
Jaden: no problem chicky see you around
Nessa: wait (grabs his hand)
Jaden: yeah
Nessa: (kisses him) see you around

Grabs her backpack and starts walking home. Jaden smiles and goes back to his friends.

Noah: hey what's up. Everything okay
Jaden: umm yeah
Noah: so I called your doctor they have your anti-depression pills but I have to hide them
Jaden: wait what why
Noah: because the last time you kept your pills you tried to overdose on them and luckily it didn't work
Jaden: yeah I guess
Noah: okay now let's go pick them up

Noah and Jaden go pick up Jaden's pills and Noah drops Jaden off at his house. Jaden goes in.

Amy: What's up bud how was school.
Jaden: good. Did you pick up those cigarettes I told you to get
Amy: yeah (gives it to him) not to much
Jaden: Okay mom love you
Amy: Love you too kiddo
