"Hey you ready" Gia asks coming into the apartment
"Yeah just let me get my purse" I say as she follows me into my room. Since the game, we've gotten a lot closer and so have the other girls. Bryce and Y/N planned a double date night for us so Gia came to my house and they're going to pick us up after practice. I look in the mirror at my appearance, I don't know if I'm over or under dressed because they didn't tell us what we're doing

"I'm glad you kind of dressed up too because I don't know what they planned" she says and I take the time to look at her outfit. She has on a long tan bodycon dress on with some platform sandals
"Yeah I would rather be over dressed than underdressed" I say and there's a series of knocks at the door and we already know who it is. I open the door and there fists are frozen in the air where they were just pounding on my door
"Finally my wrist almost broke. I have a game this week" she says
"And my wrist is even more important, no flick of the wrist no spiral" Bryce says
"Y'all could've just knocked once like regular people" I suggest
"Are we regular people cause my mommy tell me all the time that I'm special" she says
"Mhm you're very special" I say as they walk in and she gives me a kiss
"So what are we doing" Gia asks
"Why y'all gotta know" Bryce asks
"Can't it be a surprise" she asks
"No" we both say at the same time
"We going to dinner and a sort of movie" she says and I look at her confused
"What's a sort of movie" I ask and I can see the dials turning in her head tryin to figure out how to explain it "ok let's just go" I say so she doesn't overheat trying to figure out the answer to a simple question
"Damn yall dressy we just going to Chili's" Bryce says and not that there's an issue with it but I could change into something way more comfortable
"He just playin we knew yall would put something like this on, It's a nicer restaurant" she says
"They gon let you in with Jordan 1s on" Gia asks and they both got sneakers on
