Shay has came into my life and started making improvements. Like from the minute we got together so it's time I officially snatch that ass off the market. It's always about me and football so I want this to be from her world so she can see that I care what she got going on as well
"Hey Dr. Mullins" I say shaking his hand
"Y/N how are you? Ready for the SEC championship" he asks and I chuckle
"We just takin it a game at a time. You know the roll tide way" I say and he blows me off
"They ain't touching Bama but anyways I'm so glad you called. Shay is one of my brightest students and I'm excited that you two got together. Two of Alabama's brightest stars, one in the classroom and one on the field" he says
"Thank you, she's really special to me and she's always been there for me with sports and even bettering my study habits. So this is the least I could do. I appreciate you for helping" I say
"Oh it was nothing. What do you need me to do" he asks
"I got this made on a website I found. That look like the medical cases y'all be lookin at" I ask handing it to him and his eyes widen in surprise
"Wow this almost looks like the real thing, I'm impressed" he says
"She's on her way over here to meet with you. Just go over this "case" with her and on the last page it gives a professional diagnosis for this "patient". That'll be when she reads where I'm asking her to be my girlfriend. She'll probably be confused but once I know she's in there. I'll be outside listening and then I'll come in with the flowers" I say and I put a lot of effort into asking in her type of way and I hope she likes it
"Ok great let me put on my acting shoes" he says and ahh old white people and they dry humor
"Thanks Dr. Mullins" I say shaking his hand and I leave. I go across the hall to Dr. Hill's office where I got the flowers. I gotta wait for her to get there so I sit my ass down
"Women and their tardiness huh" he says
"She gotta be walkin like 5 steps a minute" I say "like come on girl I'm tryna commit here" I add and I peak out the blinds and I see her walking into the room
"You see her" he ask
"Yeah she just walked in. Imma sit for a minute then go" I say and he nods his head. A moment passes and I grab the flowers and go outside the door
"I'm so grateful you chose me to look over this case with" Shay says
"Couldn't think of anyone better. Here's the case" he says and it goes quiet for a moment
"Dr. Mullins what is this" she asks and I take that as my cue. I walk in and she turns around lookin very confused "what is going on" she asks and damn she supposed to be a medical student. I thought it was pretty obvious
"I came to the doctor with some serious symptoms. I was hoping you could gimme what I'm prescribed" I ask and she grabs the folder and goes to the last page. She covers her face once she reads what it is, but I saw that cheeky ass smile
"Doctor's prognosis is to never leave my side" she says with a laugh "amount of refills: unlimited" she laughs some more
"Is that a yes" I ask
"I follow doctor's orders" she says and I smile now that I'm officially off the market. She gives me a quick kiss and a hug since we in front of the professor
"Congratulations to you both" Dr. Mullins says
"Thank you" I say
"We're you in on it" she asks and he throws his hands up in defense
