Don Salvino had female company and didn't want to be disturbed as he dined alone with his friend. I was frankly surprised that he had a girlfriend with the life he led. But as Franco told me about her, I recalled that during the times I saw him at the clubs, surrounded by beautiful young women, he wasn't interested in them. The young women were catered to his guests.

"You'll meet her in the morning." Franco said to me.

I was really intrigued and couldn't wait to meet her. Instead we stayed in a living room which looked more used than any other room in the house with comfortable large sofas a large flat screen, with pizza and popcorn and candy, and we watched Friday the 13th with Rocco and Gustavo joining us. After the first movie ended they were not impressed at all and they started analyzing all the wrong moves about how Jason used the machete when he killed people.

They really threw a damper on the whole movie. Instead we moved to a table and Franco proceeded on teaching me how to play poker.

"You're a mafioso now, you should know how to play the game." He said as he sat me beside him and explained the basics of the game.

We drank and played and I lost at every hand which he assured me is normal until I get the hang of it.

"If we're really playing for money you'll be fleecing me out of my worth." I complained swaying in my chair, very much buzzed, and my tongue felt heavy.

"Don't worry, sorellina, you're a very rich woman." Franco chuckled. He was as drunk as I am, but was holding himself better than I am. "Next time we'll play high stakes."

I rolled my eyes at him, the action almost made me fall out of my chair. "I'm hardly rich. Don't get any ideas."

"You're Don Salvino's biological daughter you're about to inherit millions."

I blinked at him. We never did talk about it before and in my hazy mind I saw the confusion of the other two men as they looked between us.

The door opened and Don Salvino walked in wearing a silk robe over silk pajamas, his silver hair tousled and an angry expression on his face.

"Papa! You look nice. Come play with us." I said extending my arms towards him.

Don Salvino's expression darkened as he took in the whole scene. "Franco! You got your sister drunk!" He snapped angrily. Franco only grinned. "It's past 3 am!"

"Why are you angry Papa. I've been a good girl I didn't kill anyone today."

"Madre di Dio!" Don Salvino muttered under his breath and came around the table grabbed my arm pulling me out of my chair. "Time for bed, mi amore."

"But we just started a hand. I think I'm winning."

He looked at my cards. "No, you're not. Come on, off to bed with you." He glared at the other men. Rocco and Gustavo dipped their heads muffling giggles.

I stumbled, my legs felt like jelly under me. Don Salvino gripping me harder, a hand holding my arm and his arm went around my waist taking in my whole weight.

"How much did you drink?" He muttered as he led me out of the living room.

"Not mush..." My words slurred as I narrowed my eyes. The corridor seemed longer as we walked out. It swayed and I had to blink few times. "This isn't where my room is."

I got hammered in the past but nothing like this. What did I drink with Franco? I remember enough that he made his own mix and poured me a glass, perhaps two? I don't know I lost count on how much I drank. It seemed to have hit me harder than anything I had in the past.
