[a/n This chapter is kind of a filler I'm sorry don't hate me I just wanted to update. So I'm thinking this fic will probably end up being around 15 chapters with an epilogue, just like in "You Stay Away From Her". Also I JUST FOUND OUT THAT MMF IS GOING TO WARPED AND SCREAMING GAH. This chapter is dedicated to leybai because she's fabulous and she finally got a Wattpad. Comment everywhere, and enjoy!]

Song Of The Chapter: "In Between" by Beartooth

"Up on the mountain I see down below

It's easy to lose yourself I know

Can't hear what you're shouting, I'm deaf to your show

It's easy to lose your self control

Everybody gets high, everybody gets low

Life can be such an overdose

Up on the mountain I see down below

It's easy to lose yourself I know

In the in between"

Vic's POV

I climbed into Katelynne's car after our conversation, clutching an old sweatshirt of Kellin's. Tony said the excuse he'd given the guys was that I had to pick something up, so he sent me out with something he thought could pass off as belonging to Kellin. What he didn't know was that I'd been keeping that sweatshirt since he left it here almost two years before. Katelynne's phone vibrated right before I turned on the car; we had obviously gotten each other's phones for the time being, and that almost made me more nervous than this entire situation.

From: Kellin

"Lunch @ Olive Garden still? If not, that's ok I understand"

The note of fear in his message pained me. He was so afraid that Katelynne would reject him like she always had before. How could she live with herself knowing she made him feel so alone? No one wants to die alone.

To: Kellin

"Definitely. Be there in 20(: "

From: Kellin

"C u then! <3"

I smiled at his text and pulled out of the driveway to my own home. Maybe spending a few days with Kellin would be a good thing. I could get my fix and try to get over him, maybe. If nothing else, I would get away from the other guys for a little while. If this has to happen, I might as well make the best of it.

"Katelynne!" I heard a familiar sweet voice call an unfamiliar name. Nonetheless, I turned and couldn't retain a grin at the sight of Kellin. A fine line of sweat rimmed his forehead, evidence of his band rehearsal.

"Hey, how's your day?" I asked, moving closer to the absolutely flawless boy. He blushed slightly and took my hand, spreading the blush to me.

"Much better now that you're here. What about you?" Kellin inquired. I almost felt bad for a moment; Kellin was so much happier with me treating him the way he should be treated. I don't remember ever seeing him so comfortable and content with Katelynne. I was intruding in this relationship, and I did feel a little guilty. I definitely didn't feel guilty enough to stop.

"Aw, that's so sweet. And it was alright, I got a sweatshirt of yours from the Pierce The Veil household," I said, beginning to feel a little awkward.

"What sweatshirt?" Kellin asked curiously as the waiter led us to our table.

"Uh, the black Anthem Made one with the reaper," I admitted uncomfortably.
