We got to the restaurant and we started talking. We were about to leave when the workers came up to us and started singing the birthday song with a cake.

Workers: happy birthday Y/N!
Y/N: thank you
*you blew out the candles & everyone claps*
Server: you need anything?
Daniela: no just the check please
Server: of course I'll be back
*she left*
Daniela: so what do you want to do?
Y/N: you don't want to relax for a bit?
Daniela: no I have to wait for a call and if I sleep I don't think I'll be able to wake up
Y/N: oh okay then what do you want to do?
Daniela: we can go to the mall
Matthew: we love going to the mall
Y/N: we've been going ever since you left
Daniela: well I haven't so let's go
*server comes back*
Server: here you go
*Daniela gets the check*
Daniela: thank you
*server leaves*
Y/N: I'm paying
*you try to get the check but she pulls away*
Daniela: nope it's your birthday
Y/N: fine

4 hours later.

We've been shopping for 3 hours and we've been at the beach relaxing for an hour.

Y/N: so how did it go?
Daniela: there's still a lot to do but now he wants to take full custody of Matthew
Y/N: what?!
Daniela: yeah but I don't know if I should tell him
Y/N: tell him what?
Daniela: I'll tell you tomorrow
Y/N: but what are you gonna do?
Daniela: fight harder he's all I have besides you guys
Y/N: well we're doing this together

Daniela: you're finally 18 the year you've been waiting
Y/N: I know but now I don't even know why I was waiting for it
Daniela: how about you're first tattoo or piercing?
Y/N: piercing yes tattoos not so much
Daniela: if you get one I'll get one too
Y/N: deal we'll make an appointment tomorrow
*you guys shook hands*
Matthew: I'm hungry
Y/N: do you want to get food, go home and watch our movie?
Matthew: yes please
Daniela: then let's go baby
*Daniela's phone started ringing*
Daniela: I'll meet you in the car I got to answer this

Daniela's POV:
When I landed Edwin texted me to distract Y/N for a few hours. He's planning on surprising her for her birthday. He told me he was gonna call me when it's all set up and that's what's happening now.

Daniela:
everything ready?

Edwin:
just putting the last touches

Daniela:
how much longer?

Edwin:
by the time you guys get here we'll be done

Daniela:
alright then we're heading over
there now

Edwin:
just let her walk in first

*she ends the call & goes in the car*
Y/N: everything okay?
Daniela: yeah
Y/N: okay what do you guys want to eat?
Matthew: PIZZA!

We drove to the pizza place and ordered. We've been talking while waiting for them to be done. After a while, we heard my name called. I turned around and bumped into someone.
