Chapter 8:

One week later.

Honestly coming back from the beach that day with Zion felt so good and kinda helped me out a little. I talked to him about wanted to write a song and he said he would help so that's what we're doing now.

When Daniela and Matthew left I did their room as a studio but never thought about using it until now. I've been writing a song for weeks and today Zion is helping me with the beats and recording it.

Zion: so you're ready?
Y/N: yeah let's do it
Zion: put these on and I'll hit record
Y/N: okay
*you put on the headphones & walked in the booth*
Zion: ready?
Y/N: yeah
Zion: alright let's hear it
*he press record & you started singing "Plenty More."*
Y/N: Smell her scent on the bedsheets and I ain't never had no blonde hair can't deny the things I've seen ain't smart enough to hide your screen thought you knew me but you didn't

A few minutes later.

I finished singing my song and I got out of the booth. He started commenting on about my song what we change and what we can do.

Y/N: don't tell anyone I'm making a song
Zion: you know Brandon would be good at this too
Y/N: I know you all are but I want this to be on the low until I know
Zion: okay but it's gonna be difficult working on a beat for this song
*you go to the kitchen & got the spare key & walked back in*
Y/N: here come in and out whenever but let me know when you're here or coming
Zion: alright I'll see you tomorrow
Y/N: okay

April 19:

Today the boys are releasing their EP and I'm finally telling everyone about my song that's releasing next week. The boys are out rehearsals for their tour coming up on July. So Daniela, Matthew and I are organizing a surprise release party. We're almost done with the surprise. We just need to pick up Edwin's parents and Zion's parents from the airport.

A few minutes later.

We finally arrived at the airport. Daniela went to go find Edwin's parents and I went to find Zion's parents. I made a poster for them to know I'm picking them up since we never meet.

After a while, their plane finally landed. I was at the door waiting for them to come through and see the poster. In a matter of seconds, they came up to me and I introduced myself.

Y/N: hi I'm Y/N Cruz
...: hi I'm Zion's mom Mandy
...: and I'm Zion's dad Prosper
*you guys shook hands*
Y/N: welcome to LA
*you guys started walking to the baggage claim*
Mandy: so what are you to the band?
Y/N: I'm Edwin's best friend
Prosper: so how long have you guys known each other?
Y/N: since forever
*you guys got to the baggage claim & he gets his suitcase*
Mandy: well that's amazing
Y/N: it is we've grown up together so it's amazing to see him grow to the person he is now
Mandy: you guys would be cute together
*you get to the car*
Y/N: thank you for that but I don't think him and I are gonna be anything beside being best friends
Mandy: what about with my son?
Y/N: uhm
*you see Daniela & Edwin's parents walking towards you guys*
Y/N: I would like to introduce you to Edwin's parents and my sister Daniela
*they all shake hands*
...: nice to meet you I'm Julissa and this is my husband Edwin Sr
Mandy: same here I'm Mandy and this is my husband Prosper
Prosper: we're Zion's parents
Edwin Sr: like Y/N said we're Edwin's parents
Daniela: shall we head to the house
Y/N: oh yeah the boys are about to be finished
Mandy: they're gonna be their first then us
Daniela: i asked them to pick up Matthew from school
Y/N: and the school is a bit far from their house but close to the studio
Edwin Sr: we'll then what are we waiting for
