He waited until he was sure you were asleep before shifting out of your arms. It killed him to lose the warmth of your body against his, but this had to happen tonight. There wasn't a more perfect time than right now. The neighborhood that the fuckers parents lived at mainly houses retirees who went to sleep early, and didn't know how the fuck security worked, along with that persons parents. It was pretty easy to walk behind their houses, going fence by fence until reaching your ex's area.

It was the only house with a pool in their backyard, so it was easy to identify.

He hopped their picket fence easily, happy that his height gave him that advantage. These people didn't really need a fence, as they didn't have a dog as far as the internet was concerned, but who was he to judge. He'd love to have a picket fence with you once you could be allowed outside. It would be perfect! No one could see you in the comfort of your yard, only him. He'd be the only one allowed to see you, and it would provide some protection from the outside world as well. Fuck, only you existing could beat that perfect idea...

He shook his head, now is not the time. He was happy these people didn't have a motion light, cause that would've alerted them to someone being in their yard. He took a mental note to add that as a protective barrier too as he hid behind their shed. If he loved you enough to do this, who else did? And who else would be willing to harm him to get to you? What if they harmed you? He needed as many barriers between your safety and the outside world as possible. A simple light would be enough to scare some. He'd also have to invest in a security system too.

"-am not addicted to smoking anymore, ma!" Someone shouted from the home. "You're stressing me the fuck out, so I need to have a break!"

Wow, good taste in partners, huh? He was happy that you were giving him a chance versus this prick.

"Fucking assholes." The ex muttered, slamming the sliding door shut.

Peter pulled out a knife, and a rock from his pocket. He needed them to come closer to him, more in the darkness to shield from their parents view. Although, after taking a quick peek, they were long gone from the room entering from the back yard, he still wanted to play it safe. The dark clothes and black mask would be enough to hide his identity, but the height would be more of an issue. He could get away with it, sure, but he needed to play it safe.

He threw the rock in the pool, earning a "what the fuck?" from your ex. They wasted no time in approaching the dimly lit water, taking another slow drag of their cigarette as they walked. Peter was behind them in an instant, one hand pulling their forehead back as he slit their throat with the other. He dropped the ex to the ground, pushing them on their back with his foot. The ex grasped at their throat, trying to stop the bleeding, and cry out for help. Peter grinned. Pathetic.

"You remember (Y/N), don't you?" He asked, crouching over the injured asshole. "The beautiful, perfect being you fucked over?" Their eyes went wide, mouth trying to form words and only able to cough up blood.

Peter chuckled lowly, "of course you do." His knife went into their shoulder, making them try to scream again, and use their other hand to weakly try to stop the attack. Peter pulled it out, moving down to the other persons crotch. "You never deserved to have this anyway."

Through the jeans, and underwear went the knife, plunging deep into the villains body. They passed out, probably, but even if this was faster than Peter wished it to go, he shoved the knife through their heart. If he didn't leave now, he'd be fucked over by the parents. He stood up, looking towards the house, and then to the body. Fucker never really stood a chance, nor did they deserve what they took from you. In a perfect world, Peter would've kidnapped him and tortured them in his basement. But reality is a bitch, and he did what he could to prolong their death. To make them feel even slightly what you felt while with them.
