The holidays were finally over, and Nina had recently just taken down her Christmas lights and started preparing for spring time.

Nina and the rest of the TVD crew were all busy; season six was coming to an end.

Yesterday, Ian and her had shot a scene where Damon asked her about the cure. It was nearly three a.m when they finished filming and she was past exhausted. Everyone had finally wrapped up filming for today, so Nina packed up her things and prepared to head home.

Out in the parking lot, Nina didn't realize how late it was. It was nearly two a clock on the morning. They had gone over time, again.

With a sigh, Nina pulled out her car keys and unlocked her car. She found herself flooded with relief as she turned on her radio station and pulled out of the parking lot. She has recently come to grow eager to leave.

Everything on set would've been done except the way Ian had been acting. He was ignoring her completely; turning the other way when se tried talking to him and leaving as early as he could. It didn't really bother her, or so she hoped.

Maybe it was affecting her. Even Kat had noticed her sudden change in attitude.

Conflict and frustration crowded her mind as Nina began descending towards her Atlanta home. She turned up her music in attempt to drown out her thoughts. As she was driving, the radio began playing rather obnoxious music. Not at all impressed, Nina pulled down a car compartment but cursed as her cd holder fell out of it. Glancing quickly at the road to be safe, Nina then looked down to grab the cd holder. Just brushing the folder, Nina's whole body suddenly felt as though it was thrown forward.

Her whole car swung to the right with a tremendous screech and Nina had not even a second to block her chest from slamming into the steering wheel. Nina cried out helplessly and felt her ribs explode with a horrible pain.

Her car music was still blaring as Nina lost consciousness and passed out.

Ian pulled off his jacket and sighed tiredly. A long day again. His apartment was a comfortable place with luxurious furniture and a good amount of space. Nikki was gone for the night, so Ian decided to sit on the couch and relax with some TV. Pulling on a fresh t-shirt and pajama sweats, Ian layers down on the couch.

It hasn't been long before Ian's cell phone began ringing. With an annoyed grunt, Ian sluggishly it up and grabbed his phone off the counter.

It was Nina.

He was hesitant to answer, but at the same time, he was curious as to why she was calling him now.

With much thought, Ian decided to let the phone ring off and wait. He wasn't willing to talk to Nina right now. He didn't know why, but every time he looked at her recently, he felt pain. He felt loathing and misery.

He knew it would be better if they had just gone their separate ways in life and try to forget about each other.

Suddenly exhausted, Ian turned off his TV and went into his bedroom. It was going to be hard to sleep with Nina on his mind now.

30 Minutes Later:

Nina couldn't see. That's all she knew. Everything was too bright and too loud. She heard voices all around her, and felt hands all over her. Her whole body felt numb and cold. Pain crept up her spine like ice and it hurt to breathe.

"Sweety, you've been in an accident." A female voice called out.

She didn't see them, the lights were so bright. Suddenly, reality started to come in and she remembered only one name.

"Ian," she whispered.

The doctors surrounding her stared down at her.

More voices, more lights.

Ian.

"We need to stop the bleeding,"

Ian.

"Fractured ribs on her..."

Ian.

Ian, Ian...
