🥀 part 5 🥀

"Thanks for walking me back but you didn't have to, really."

"No, you accompanied me earlier so I thought I should at least walk you back to return your favor." He then looked to the ground, a drop of tear rolling down his cheek.

"Are you alright? I can listen if you want to talk."

He then kept quiet, as if ignoring me.

"I don't know. Sometimes, i keep telling myself it's alright when I know it isn't. Sometimes, I keep smiling when I know it hurts to. Sometimes... just sometimes... I had wished for... for someone to be there for me and listen to me and tell me everything's gonna be alright."

Right then and there, we stopped infront of my house, at the front porch. Hoping he felt comforted, I patted his back and gave him a hug, and said, "Everything's gonna be alright. I'm here to listen to you and I can be there for you when you need someone."

Suddenly, I felt the mood change. As if some kind of energy consumed me. I stared at Carwyn. I could see him getting closer to me, his head tilting slowly towards my direction. His breath, slowly getting softer and stronger as he approached me. I could feel him near my neck, coming towards my lips. His warm touch, started carressing my face, slowly moving towards my lips. Another hand on my back, pulling me gently into his arms, as I could feel his nose starting to touch mine, slowly closing his eyes. My ears started turning red, heart beating rapidly but with some uncertainty.

Before I realised it, the door behind me opened as I heard a familiar voice calling out to me.

"Hey, roomie. You're back late."

My roommate, Tequi, suddenly emerged from the door, as Carwyn immediately pulled himself away from me.

"Was I interrupting something? Sure seems so as to how you're both blushing. "

"No. It's nothing. I'd better get going now Rue. It's getting pretty late. See you tomorrow! "
Carwyn waved as he walked off.

In the house

I then immediately got in the house and rushed to room but before I knew it, Tequi stopped me and pulled me back.

"Where do you think you're going, missy? I just saw something and I am not gonna miss it. So tell mee... Who's that? Is he hitting on you?"

"He's just my partner. We had a project to finish up earlier. He was just sending me home. That's it."

"A project? Ending this late? Were you doing your project... or were you doing him?"

"What nonsense are you spewing Tequi?! It's nothing like that!" I choked on my words.

I ran up straight to my room, ambushed by the embarrassment I felt by Tequi, slamming the door behind me. What was she even saying? Doing him? How do I do him? How can I do him even? I didn't know what it meant but I felt so ashamed when Tequi said that. My heart started palpitating, quicker and quicker by the minute. My face was flushed, started warming up that I could fry an egg on my cheek. I didn't know what this feeling was.
