I charged Kaito with the intent to wake him up using force.
Whatever happened to him this idiot some how couldn't fight it.
With my sword in my hand i slashed out towards him
He parried it and tried to punch me.
It was the same way like when he fought the demon.
I caught his fist in my left hand and tried to kick him but he broke out of my hold and backed up.
Without letting him rest i charged forward and did a diagonal overhead slash aimed towards his chest.
I was aiming for a shallow cut but he instead just took a slight step back and when my sword missed he closed the distance.
He punched me in the gut and i felt the wind get blown out of me.
I jumped back and recovered while he tried to charge at me.
I blocked his sword but the force made me skid back a little.
"Hey Kaito, that was a pretty weak hit."
This seemed to tick him off and he tried to charge towards me again.
He had his sword readied to stab out at me but it was really predictable.
I flicked the sword to the side and stepped forward and tried punching him.
He caught my fist but i closed our distance and headbutted him.
Kaito stumbled back a little and was shaking his head.
"Hey Kaito! Don't you remember me!"
I shouted angrily at him but he just flashed a grin.
That's starting to piss me off.
He shouted back at me with a crazed laugh.
"I don't know who you are and frankly i don't care. Let's just fight! Loser Dies!"
He dashed towards me and tried an overhead slash.
I dodged to the side but he followed it up with a kick and i got blown back.
I was airborne but i twisted in midair and landed on the wall safely and immediately jumped off towards him.
He seemed to not expect this and I landed a clean kick to his chest and he got blown to the ground.
He stood up and still had a stupid grin.
"The Kaito i knew would have been able to block that!"
"Well i don't know who Kaito is so shut up."
We both dashed forward and our swords clashed.
This time we both jumped back and instantly tried to attack again.
He used an overhead slash but i parried it to the side and tried to slash him across the chest.
He ducked and quickly tried to slash me from below but i sidestepped and we both tried to punch out but our fist collided.
Without letting either of us rest we both tried to kick each other but our legs just blocked each other.
We both backed up and dashed towards each other again.
"Kaito! Remember who you are!"
Our blade clashed and we sidestepped and attacked each other with different attacks.
He slashed from below again but i blocked his blade and pushed off then followed up with a horizontal slash.
"Your name is Kaito Wolfheart and you are my best friend!"
He lunged towards me and I parried but he kicked out towards my legs so i was forced to jump up into the air.
He followed me and we both crossed swords in the air.
"Remember Damit!"
"Shut up!"
He suddenly twisted in the air and i got kicked down towards the ground.
I recovered and flew back using my left hand to stabilize myself and flip backwards.
I skidded backwards with my left hand touching the ground but he was already following up his attack.
A torrent of strikes that were a bit hard to block.
An overhead followed by a horizontal quickly followed by and upward strike.
These were quickly followed up by another horizontal slash and a diagonally overhead slash.
I blocked but he tried to kick me and when i sidestepped he punched out towards where i was sidestepping to and then i was forced to duck but he kneed me in the face.
I fell to the floor and quickly got up.
He was grinning at me with dazed eyes that seemed devoid of any control.
I brought my hand up to my mouth and there was a trickle of blood from my mouth.
