uoltra magnus leads the autobots to attack megatron and the decepticons. meanwhile optimus believed smokescreen would become the new leader by the time optimus dies.
if optimus dies and becomes one with the all spark, the matrix of leadership is passed onto smokescreen and smokescreen vows to lead the team.
if optimus lives (thanks to smokescreen's brave decision to use the forge of solus prime), optimus gets the newest upgrade such as the jet pack and the mini gun.
