Chapter I
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
It's been a month since Riki's dad had passed away. Riki hasn't been doing good at all, he'd get defensive and worked up over nothing, but it wasn't like how Bakugo got worked up. It was more like overthinking, crying, and self-harming.
All the students had been moved into dorms because of attacks from villains. Riki was moved on the second floor, farthest down the hall. His neighbor was Kaminari, which kinda sucked but they were friends so he didn't say anything.
Riki woke up and pushed himself to sit up with his arms, only feeling pain shoot up throughout his arms. He groaned, looking down at his arms.
His arms were covered in dried blood.
Riki let out a shaky breath, "Fuck," he mumbled, tears already in his eyes.
He got out of his bed and went over to his closet. Riki pulled out a black hoodie and threw it on. He backed up from his closet and put his slippers on. Riki rubbed his eyes and slowly moved toward his door. He turned the silver knob and stepped out into the bright hallways.
"Why is it so fucking bright..?" Riki asked himself, mumbling every word that came out of his mouth.
He looked down at the carpet and walked to the elevator. When Riki got to the silver doors he pressed the button that was pointing to the ground.
Riki waited for a few minutes, when the doors slide to different sides he stepped in and so did someone else. He glanced down at the mysterious person and rolled his eyes.
Bakugo was standing right next to Riki. "You look like shit short stack," Bakugo spat.
Riki sighed, "I didn't get much sleep last night, sorry that I don't look pleasing to you."
Bakugo rolled his crimson orbs and crossed his arms over his chest. He opened his mouth but couldn't figure out what to say.
Riki snickered and smirked, "Cat got your tongue?"
Bakugo punched his arm and opened his mouth again, "One, I hate cats. Two, I just didn't know what to say."
Riki's eyes widen and his mouth hung open. He took a few seconds to process what Bakugo said. "You hate cats?!" He belted, throwing his arms in the air.
Bakugo grabbed Rikis forearm and pulled his arm down, his other arm coming down on it's own. Riki winced at the pain of some of his cuts opening back up.
"Let go of my arm, Bakugo." Riki tried to jerk his arm back but Bakugo only tightened his grip. More and more cuts started opening, cold, bright red blood was rolling down his arm.
Riki started to panic, his eyes grew wider than they were earlier. He kept pulling back until Bakugo let go of the taller boys arm. Riki had tears in his eyes and kept his gaze on the ground. He shoved his arms into the small pocket on his hoodie so the blood on his hands wasn't seen. The elevator door opened and Riki was the first to step out, rushing to the bathroom. Bakugo stood outside the elevator questioning why he was in such a rush.
