I turn around posing in different directions.

"Should I wear this?" I ask myself

I change directions a couple more times.

"Yeah I guess." I answer flipping my backpack over my shoulder headed downstairs.

"Hey grandma!"

"Hey darling. Want to eat breakfast?"

"No I'm good, I have to meet up with my friends." I say with a bit of guilt.

"Okay honey, see you after school."

I wave goodbye, and head out the door.

"No way!" My friend screams.

"What the hell crystal!" My other friend shouts.

"He just asked me out! To the homecoming dance!? You remember right?!" Crystal shouts, with excitement written all over her face.

"Yes we remember." I say. Annoyed that I don't have anyone to go with.

"What about you Taylor? You going with anyone?" I ask

"Nah, I was thinking we could go like together?" She says perking up a bit.

Crystal gives me the eye, "wanna tell her tris?"

I sigh giving crystal the death stare, "I don't know if I'm going." I finally say

She gasps, "you're not going!? It's like the biggest thing this year!"

"I honestly don't know. Maybe Because my ex is going with my use to be best friend Maddie." I say throwing my hands up sarcastically.

Both of them sigh

"That doesn't mean anything, he didn't deserve you." Taylor says glancing over at the table behind us.

I look over and there he is. Blonde beautiful hair, with his emerald green eyes, and very well toned body. Sitting next to that girl. Ugh I hated her.

My blood starts to boil as they both sit there laughing together like she didn't just rip him from my arms.

The cup sitting in front of her starts to shake.

"ruptis." I whisper.

The cup bursts open, spewing all over her pretty little face. She screams.

Her friends look around confused. Taylor and crystal look at me in disappointment.

"What?!" I say throwing my hands up, a smirk forming on my face

"He's looking at you." Taylor nods towards Logan.

I glance up. Are eyes meet, he looks almost mad. Like he knew it was me. He breaks eye contact, Maddie shaking his arm asking for something to clean up with.

"I think it's time to go." I say hoping up.

"Ugh!" Taylor whines.

They get up following me. Minutes later the bell rings and we head to our classes. I have Taylor in my class so we walk there together.

"Hey what was that for back there?"

"I- I just hate her for what she did. She took him from me and he followed letting me go. I did so much for him." I say my anger starting to boil up.

Taylor puts her hand on my shoulder, "Hey, it'll be fine. But you can't be using your powers for bad."

She and crystal are the only mortals I know that know I'm a witch.

I roll my eyes not caring anything she said.

Everyone finds these classes difficult, but I have magic to help.

The bell rings and everyone starts rushing to go home. I don't wait for Taylor or crystal I just want to get home.

I grab my backpack not looking where I'm going and run straight into someone hitting the ground.

"What the fuck!" I say looking up. I immediately regret what I just said. This tall beautiful man stands before me, brown wavy hair, with eyes the color of the ocean.

"Damn, I'm sorry." He says reaching his hand out.

I grab him lifting myself up.

"No it's fine." I rub the back of my head from the fall.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, hey I have to get home." I try to walk past him but he blocks my path.

"My names Caleb."

"Um- Hey Caleb. I'm Tristan but call me tris." I say a little aggravated.

"That's cool, we should you know get to know each other more. Maybe sometime tomorrow? Just come sit at my table at lunch." His eyes linger on my body.

"Sure! I'll try to at least." I look him up and down.

"Anyways I got to go." I say pointing behind him.

"Okay, see you around... tris"

Chills form on the back of my neck.
