The night was peaceful. Calm. The wind sang beautifully, carrying autumn leaves all around. A small town sat in the edge of rural New York. It was cozy, the kind where nobody locked there doors and everyone knew each other. Where grandma's brought cookies over to their neighbors kids, and during the Christmas time a group gathered together to sing carols. With peace like this, something much darker lurked under the surface. Countless boys went missing, the ones that came back were odd. They stayed up too late, their moods had changed, and they all came back with a sickness.

Sickness that made them cold to the touch, that caused them to stay up for days without sleep. The others couldn't put their finger on it but something was wrong. Aunt May had been so happy when her son had come home a year ago. But he had changed too..

Peter sat in wait. His shoulders were slumped slightly as he sat on the ledge of the tall tower. He was panting, and gasping. The cold air didn't bother him, but the hunger did. The little vampire hadn't fed in so long his stomach didn't grumble anymore, instead it ached. His skin was as white as the full moon gazing down at him, and grey streaks stood out in his chestnut hair.

Fangs poked out, and the smell of anything with warmth running through their veins was enough to make his pupils dilate. He fell a little to the side, eyes widening slightly. There it was, that beautiful aroma. Peter went looking for whoever was walking around smelling like that. The audacity. His nostrils flared as he caught onto the scent, following after them. They were close. He was getting closer.

Peter's steps sped up into a light jog. The trees sang, like they were encouraging him. The pheromones were almost too much for him to take. He couldn't put his finger on what he smelled like, Peter tried to remember what food tasted like before he got sick. This smell was like Aunt Mays special apple pie, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. A smile spread over his face; if he could taste something that nice again he could die happy.

The Vampire caught a glimpse of who he was chasing after, and he fell into a full run. Peter tackled the large figure down and they rolled a little at the impact. His good slipped down to reveal his face to the human, and he caught his breath a little. His thighs on either side of the man's hips, and his black eyes slow blinking at his meal.

His meal smelled nicer then anything he had ever smelled before. Peter snatched the man's hood off, and caught a look at his face. It was red and scarred, but the outline was nice. Jaw strong and chiseled. Pretty blue eyes stared back at him, but they weren't scared.

" Don't look at me!" Peter yelped, forcing the human to look away. He got shy when his food looked at him, he couldn't explain it. It was like performance anxiety.

" Wow," Wade mumbled, his eyes widening a little. He tried to pull Peters hand away. " You've got to be the cutest boy I've ever seen, and murderous intent, that must mean we're perfect for eachother!"

Peter physically gagged at the sing-song baby voice the other male used, and tries to cover his face again. His hands shoved the zipper of the black, hoodie. Peter could smell something on him, someone else's blood and his jaw clenched.

" Oh oh! Am I your food?" Wade gasped happily, like he had won the lottery. He flipped them quickly so he was on top and nuzzle his face against Peters throat. " Eat as much as you want, I'm full of blood! I'm like a buffet-"

" Do you ever shut up?" Peter snapped. He looked away quickly. He couldn't eat now, he didn't like his food talkative.

" Nope! It's one of my many talents really. I'm also good at contract killing, Jenga, listing all of the Star wars movies in order, and I know every word of the Lord of The rings franchise but not in order and-"
