Chapter 28: Never

Ava's POV

"Ronan, meet Ava Vitiello. My wife-"

I shake me head hoping he'll shut up and let us leave.

But I know he won't. Deep down I know now that he's found me again, he's never letting go.

I look back at Ronan who looks at me with confusion.

"I'm sorry." I whisper.

"What is he talking about? Tell me he's lying" Ronan says.

I look down.

"Ava. Why?" his voice cracks making my heart break into pieces.

"Because you're a fool, did you really think you meant something to her?" Ace says with a chuckle.

"Shut up. He did and still does." I look back at Ronan, "you do, please your my friend"

He shakes his head taking a step back.

"Friend? I thought I was more than that-"

"Well your wrong" Ace says cutting him off.

I look back at Ace to see a smirk spread across his face and I want nothing more than to know him along with his smirk out.

"Now let go of my sister."

"No, you really think I'll do that? Give me back Ava first" Ronan says.

He still wants to take me back?

"Even after finding out that she's your enemies wife you want her? Your an idiot" Ace says.

"Stop calling him that!" I snap making him narrow his eyes at me.

In less than seconds I feel a gun near the back of my head making me freeze. I slowly turn around to see Ace holding a gun at me while staring at Ronan.

He's going to shoot me?

"I'll pull the trigger if you don't let go of Davina"

What?

"I can't do that. You have to let go of Ava" Ronan says.

Ace stays silent as he makes his hold firm making sure I can't get out of his grasp.

"Ava. Something happened." Ronan says.

What?

To who?

Kenna? Serafina? Nicolas?

"What are you talking about?" I say my voice shaking.

"I- we were under an attack during your absence-"

"What happened!!" I yell trying to get away from Ace.

"He took them. Kenna, Serafina, and Nicolas."
