Couple Arguments [Jikook Short Story]

♛[Chapter 13]♛

"Bad news?" The panic can clearly seen in Jungkook's tone. "Hmm yes but I have a-

"What happened? Is he ok? Please don't tell me tha-

"Will you let me speak?" Doctor was irk by them not letting him complete his sentence, Jungkook slightly nod his head.

"Bad news or good news? What will you like to listen first?" Jungkook look at him for a while and gulping hard he hesitantly choice bad news.

"Jimin has broke his many bones near 90-100, he would take 8-9 months to heal properly, we check his brain condition because if something major happened to his brain or head then he might get in a big trouble but the good news is nothing bad happened to his head, yeah but he broke his skull too but don't worry his brain didn't got major injury and that's why he will survive, no need to worry" Jungkook heaved a deep sigh in relief wiping away his tears because one word he don't want to hear from doctor's mouth was dead.

"Doctor he didn't lose his m-memory or something right?" Jungkook hesitantly asked but got relief when the doctor shook his head.

"He didn't got Alzheimer, fracturing bones is a normal thing but because he had so many it would take him one year to heal properly. The happy thing is he isn't going to open his eyes soon but he can hear you. Yes, you hear me right, he can hear you so think before speaking something in front of him because if you speak something negative it would be danger to his heart. Talk something that made him relief or happy as it will send positivity energy to his heart, so he can open his eyes as soon as possible" (a/n don't ask me what's the logic here just think it)

Heaving a sigh he nod his head before smiling at the doctor. "Thanks doctor, you don't have any idea you saved my life, Jimin is my life and if something would've happened to him...." Jungkook become silent but his eyes told what he meant. The doctor nod his head patting his shoulder with a short smile.

"You can go inside and meet him" The doctor said before leaving, Jungkook look at his mother in law who smile at him sadly.

"Go" Jungkook nod his head slightly before getting inside the room. He look at the unconscious Jimin with teary eyes and slowly approach him. Sitting beside him he gently hold his hand rubbing his thumb on his dorsal palm.

"You can hear me ri-ght?" Jungkook voice cracked at the last and he burst into sobs, his tears dropping on Jimin's dorsal palm.

"I love you... Always baby, always and promise I'll make everything better. You know? You're right, I'm an asshole, a fucker, I'm not a good husband, I'm bad, worst but never leave me, raise your hands on me. Beat me as you want but.... Never leave me please I'm so sorry" Jungkook said wiping away his tears and smiling at him. "I did it, I broke every relationship with Yuri. She didn't succeed in broking our marriage, no one can brake our love life, no one" Jungkook intertwine their fingers together and smile at him lightly caressing his cheeks.

"Forgive me for what I did but trust me I didn't even called anyone for divorce papers, I just fake it to show you how serious I was but......I never knew something like this would happen" Tears freely land on Jimin's dorsal palm while Jungkook's thumb was caressing his wet palm. He let out a chuckle remembering the memories before their marriage, the time when they never argue.

"At college we were the sweetest couple, do you remember? We rarely argue and were always lovely dovely" Jungkook said to his unconscious husband smiling at the thoughts of old memories.

"I remember the time when I failed in Mathematics and my teachers, parents and everyone scold me so badly that I started crying then you comfort me" Another chuckle left his mouth as he imagine that day.

_Flashback_

"I told you to prepare for it!! But you punk" Jimin scolded the taller madly who look up at him with heavy teary eyes. "Although I tried, maths is so difficult for me. You're also scolding me, where should I go now?" Jungkook burst into heavy sobs like a kid made Jimin heaved a sigh before pulling him in his arms. The smaller wrap his arms around his back and pat his back kissing his forehead.

"Baby it's ok, I know you did your best" Jimin caressed his head made Jungkook cry softly at his chest, he clutch on his shirt like a kid making the latter coo at him and he slightly cupped his face. Jimin made Jungkook look up at him, he softly peck his nose tip.

"You are my strong bunny, aren't you? And it would be a shame if I saw you crying. Come on sweetheart, stop crying my baby" Jimin comforted the taller who just look at him with his innocent doe eyes.

"Jungkook ah stop being cute! It flutter my heart, you tiny bunny stop crying" Jungkook giggle at his word made Jimin smile.

"I love you" Jimin whispered blowing a kiss to him, Jungkook lean forward and peck his lips.

"I love you more"

_Flashback over_

Jungkook close his eyes letting a single tear roll down his cheeks. "After marriage everything changed, isn't it? But I still love you the way I use to do in college" The thing that hurt Jungkook the most was Jimin can hear him but can't react.

"Hope you don't push me away minie, I'm regretfully for whatever I did, forgive me" Jungkook said looking up at him with teary eyes. The door open made Jungkook glance at the door to saw his mother who smile at him, Jungkook return the smile before standing up.

"You can talk now" He said gaining a nod from his mother-in-law and he left.
