"This isn't working." His words made your eyes widened.
"What?" You asked, hoping that what you heard was wrong.
"Our relationship. It isn't working." He repeated. You gritted your teeth.
"Not working?! I, Xiao Melody, travelled all the way from China to Korea just to be told 'this isn't working'?! What the heck?! I just came! We haven't tried it yet!" You yelled in frustation.
"Sorry. Sorry. It's just that.." he tried to think of any reasons.
"Just what?! You jerk! My dad even scolded me for the first time because I chose to be with you than to be with them! I tried my best to pass the entrance exam here in your school so that I'll be always with you! Then what now?! You'll just tell me that it isn't working?! Have we tried it yet?!" You yelled.
"I didn't knew that you would passed the exam-- I mean.." You slapped him hard.
"You damn bastard!" You shouted.
"S-sorry!" He apologized.
"Have you found someone better than me?" You asked, trying to calm yourself.
"U-uhm.." he stuttered.
"Damn you shit." You muttered under your breath and walked away.
"Melody!" He called you. "We can still be friends right?" He asked. You turned and smiled at him. He smiled back. You raised your middle finger before walking away again, leaving him shocked.
You drove off until you reached your apartment. You laid flat on your bed and tears started rolling on your cheeks. Actually, your boyfriend isn't handsome nor appealing. You're just atrracted to him because of his smartness.

First day of your new school where your damn ex boyfriend is also studying. You sighed and walked inside your classroom. You sat on a vacant seat. You felt someone sat beside you.
"Annyeonghaseyo. I'm Ken." He greeted with a smile.
"A-annyeong.. I'm Melody." You greeted back. You can say that he is a very good looking man.
"You're new here, right?" He asked. You nodded. "Oh, so you don't have any friends here?" You nodded again. "Want to be my friend?"
"Eh?" He chuckled at your reaction.
"Why? Don't you want me to be your friend?" He asked, pouting. You looked away and cleared your throat.
"It's not like that.."
"Then we're friends?" He asked excitedly.
"U-uhm..yeah? I gues.." You answered unsurely.
"Hey. Don't be shy." He said and patted your head.
Months had passed and you and Ken became closer. You actually became bestfriends. He is such a good guy. He helps you whenever you're having a hard time on a subject.
You like him. And you were thinking of confessing it to him this afternoon at the rooftop.
You were smiling widely because it is the time that you're going to confess. You were on your way to the rooftop when someone held your wrist.
"Melody!" You heard a familiar voice that made your eyes widened and made you really irritated. You turned and saw you damn ex.
"What now?!" You asked and crossed your arms over your chest.
"I-I..I missed you.." he was about to hug you but you pushed him. He almost lose his balance.
"Bastard. Don't come near me if you don't want to get killed." You said. He stood up straight.
"Look Melody, I love you. I really do. Please give the both of us a chance. Please? I promise I will only love you. Only you." He begged. You raised an eyebrow. He was about to hug you again when someone blocked.
"Back-off jerk. Don't come near her again." Ken's voice was scary.
"W-wha..? Who the heck are you?!" Your ex yelled but you can clearly see that he was scared.
"I'm her boyfriend. Now go away before I break your bones." Ken said and dragged you with him. Your heart was beating so fast and loud. You noticed that you're walking towards the rooftop.
"Ken?" You called when you reached the rooftop. He looked at you and smiled. You felt your face heaten up as you looked away.
"Yeah? Sorry for scaring you earlier. I just don't want to see you with other guy." He said.
"H-huh? W-why..?" You asked, shocked.
"I love you Melody. That's why I get jealous when you are with another guy. Will you be my girl? Please?" He confessed. Your eyes widened.
"Of course! I love you too." You replied and smiled widely before hugging him tightly. He smiled softly and hugged you back. He broke the hug and kissed you softly.
