Chapter 1- Letters to a friend

Dear Marlene,

Are you having fun in Paris?
My family and I went last year, we didn't get to see the wizarding side at all but if you happen to wander into the muggle part you should try the crémé brûlée.

Anyways, I wrote this letter because I need your advice ASAP! As usual, my life is really dramatic and surprisingly not because of Petunia's tantrums. So here's the insight on what's happening in the wonderful life of Lily Evans:

Snape. That git has been sending me letters day in and day out, and anytime I go out to get the post he's just lurking around! I've received 78 letters from him so far, 2 appolising & the other 76 are some lousy excuse or rant about how he's the victim. Once my mum asked what happened and after I told her she would have probably gone and killed Severus if not for dad holding her back. So if you have any ideas on how to get people to shut up, please do tell!

My second problem is that we're having a family reunion soon. You know auntie June and her political rants or uncle Kennedy's famous drunk monologues. Well, mum said Petunia is bringing her friend Barbra so she allowed me to get one friend of my own. I was wondering if you're back in time, could you make it? You can even stay the night if you want and the entire next day but please confirm if that's possible as soon as you can.

Anyways, I've officially finished my rant about me drowning in parchment & drunk uncles so..... get back to me when you can!

Sometimes I wonder if I'm a therapist or a friend?
Also, I have a genuine question- how did you manage to use sarcasm through a letter?!
If this whole auror thing doesn't work, I suggest you take a lesson in sarcasm!

Anyways,

I can't believe that greasy bastard is still trying to contact you, can't he take a bloody hint!? But I do have some bright ideas on what you can do to make him leave you alone...well I don't but I know someone who does...

Also, I would absolutely love to see uncle Kennedy talk about how woollen socks were made by wool monsters who live in people sewing kits and bite their fingers off...but mum said something about family time and all that. However, I do know someone who can help you. I'm not going to tell you who, because you'll say no..but just trust me on this!

So I'm guessing the reunion will happen on 18th July like it always does. All I need you to do is, open the window to your room and let the person inside on 16th July at 4:00am. Trust them and do as they say, they'll get you dolled up for the event and make Snape regret everything he's ever done. That's a promise!

Please don't question anything, just trust them! That person will be a big surprise, but it'll work!

P.S- I tasted the crémé brûlée and it is insanely delicious! I'm probably gonna bring some back..
