Kai's POV
Lisa invited me to have lunch because she told me that she has something to say.
After an hour of waiting she arrived safely in our meeting place, it's not that fancy restaurant but it's nice in here.
"Hey Lis, I said then she gave me a quick hug.
She's still the Lisa I know, she's so kind to people even though she's not that okay about her feelings, what I mean is she's still trying her best to show us that she's not in pain.
"So let's eat first, I said.
"Yeah sure my treat, she replied.
"Wait no Lisa it's my treat ."
"Kai I invited you here so it's my treat please just this time, she smiled and I nodded my head.
We eat and talk about life, she told me some things that has happened to her and I also told her about me and Jennie.
"So what do you want to tell me Lis? I mumbled.
"Well I don't know if this is right but...
She stopped talking and she lowered her head, I know she's crying.
"Hey what is it? I asked while caressing her back. She lift up her head and held both of my hands.
"Can I have one more month, just one last month to be with Jennie, to live with her in our house to be her girlfriend in a whole month, please Kai."
Lisa's POV
Im waiting for his response but he didn't spoke, instead he gave me a big smile.
"Sure Lis, you let me be with Jennie so I'm letting you to be with her for a month before our wedding." He replied and I hugged him tightly.
"Thank you Kai, I smiled.
"I will tell Jennie about this later so she can pack her things and I will send her in your house tomorrow in the evening.
"But what about her mom? I asked.
"I will talk to her, there's nothing more she can do about this. Lisa I owe you a lot and this is not enough for your kindness." He mumbled.
"Thank you Kai."
The next day
After I cleaned the house I received a text from Kai saying their on the way here, so that means Jennie agreed.
I smiled widely before entering the bathroom to take a bath.....After doing my business, I dried my hair and fed my cats before checking my phone again.
[Ding-dong]
I heard the door bell rang that's when my heart began to pound harder I know it's them because I saw Kai's car outside. I checked my face in the mirror for the last time before making my way outside.
I step out and saw her looking at me too, my eyes began to water out of the blue, my heart smiles again after 5 years. She's still pretty she's still gorgeous and she's still the girl I used to love before.
She took another step going closer to where Im standing, she faced Kai and when Kai nodded she quickly run towards me.
A simple hug can make my heart melt, her soft and warmth skin never changed.
"I miss you lisayah, she whispered."
