Chapter Fourteen
The silent atmosphere was now replaced with hustling sounds. The arrival of the Park family confused Yoongi who was sitting on the couch drinking some freshly brewed coffee.
He was familiar to them, not personally but as an heir of his father's company. Hoseok was equally surprised by the surprise arrival of the entire Park family.
He stood next to Yoongi and stared at them from a distance. As soon as Mr. Park's eyes fell on Hoseok, a smile spread on his lips.
Mr. Park: ah...Hoseok...my boy...
He exclaimed cheerfully and walked towards Hoseok. Hoseok bowed in respect and greeted him. Mr. Park patted his back as a sweet gesture and stared at Yoongi waiting for his introduction.
Hoseok: Uncle Park...this is my and y/n's close friend...Min Yoongi, Yoongi meet Uncle Park, y/n's father...
The thought of meeting y/n's parents made Yoongi a bit nervous for no reason. He imagined them as cold and ruthless rich parents who take pleasure in controlling the lives of their children.
But to his surprise, Mr. Park was sweet and welcoming. Not long after they were joined by his wife, y/n's step-mother.
Shin Hye: It's great to have all of y/n's close friends on such a great day...she might feel a little less nervous...
She shook hands with Yoongi while smiling softly. According to what y/n told him, he imagined her to be a foul woman who had no concern for others. However she too looked like a sweet lady. In conclusion, both of them weren't like his parents.
They didn't look controlling or abusive. They were warm and welcoming to him.
After some minutes, a guy in his late twenties entered the mansion. He was wearing a casual outfit. His face was bright and he looked handsome. However, his expression was cold.
Hoseok: Hyung!!
Hoseok chirped excitedly seeing Hyungsik. He rushed to give his hyung a tight hug. Hyungsik reciprocated Hoseok's hug with the same intensity. He missed spending time with the happiest soul on the planet.
After breaking off the engagement with Hoseok's cousin, Krystal Hyungsik never dared to meet Hoseok. He was kinda afraid to face him. However Hoseok never hated him for breaking off the engagement with his rude and proud cousin, Krystal Jung.
Hyungsik: Ah...Hobi I missed you my friend...
Hoseok: Me too...Hyung you never felt the need to just ring me once. You know I hated that cousin of mine as much as you do...
