Chapter Sixteen
The trip to the US felt exhausting. Staying 19 hours in the plane is a tough job. Mom was always beside me, comforting me. She knew I was missing my family a lot. After the engagement I didn't talk to Jungkook. I don't want to give him any false hopes when I clearly love Taehyung. It wouldn't be right to lead him on.
My mom squeezed my hand tightly warming it. She adjusted her seat belt and indicated to me to fasten mine. The plane was about to land soon. I stared out of the window and found myself gazing at the morning sky and the clouds.
All of this reminded me of one person...Taehyung. I just hope he'll let me explain when I'm ready to face him. I hope and also hope not that he waits for me.

Hye Kyo: Y/n...sweetie...mom has something to tell you. I know I should've told you before anyone but sweetie everything happened so suddenly and I wasn't sure how you would react so...
She looked nervous. Y/n tried to comprehend her monologue but failed to understand even a bit of it. She was about to speak something when a car honked.
Hye Kyo: Ah...he's here...
Soon the staff picked up their luggage after greeting Hye Kyo and Y/n. Y/n just smiled softly trying to be as polite as possible. She was tired, drowsy, sleepy, exhausted and jet lagged. Hye Kyo pulled her hand softly and walked towards the car parked in front of the airport exit.
