"You, including Ding Dun and Zhang Danni, were involved in this case 19 years ago, weren't you?" Yunlan threw the files with photographs in front of Zhu Jiu, who glanced without reaction.
"Confess now if you don't want to end up like your dead friends."
And just like what Yunlan had predicted, Zhu Jiu's eyes quickly showed responses. "They're dead?" His lips slightly trembled. "By-by whom?"
"First, tell me what happened 19 years ago!" Yunlan demanded.

Flashback: 19 years ago, ⚠ Violence scene ⚠
The lights went out as the door swung open.
The woman instantly swung the bat but was effortlessly seized from her hands. Instead, she was slapped hard and fell to the floor with bleeding lips.
"Tell me where is the disc, Ms. Wang. I promise not to hurt you." said the man with authority in his voice, who hid his face in the dark corner of the room.
"I don't know what you are talking about, Sir. Please, let me go!" Wang pleaded.
"Is that so?" The man scoffed and snapped his fingers as a signal to his underlings.
"Let me handle the women!" Zhang Danni firmly squeezed Wang's face with excitement. "Such pretty women." She took out a pocket knife, caressing it along Wang's cheeks, and was about to engrave a scar. But suddenly, the younger child crawled out from under the bed, leaped at Zhang Danni and bit her on the neck. "Don't - hurt - my - mommy!" He muffled into the bite.
In pain, she pushed him hard as he toppled backward, causing his head to puncture against the sharp edge of a table. Blood spewed. Instantaneously the child could no longer utter a sound.
"My child!" Wang screamed and hastily crawled to her child. "Why did you come out? Don't come out!" She wailed agonizingly, hugging her lifeless child, and at the same time, relaying a message to the one still alive.
Wang clenched her fists angrily, grabbed the pocket knife on the floor, running towards Zhang Danni for revenge. But Ding Dun quickly grabbed hold of Wang's hand. He took the knife and stabbed her as she fell on her knees, holding her wounded stomach.
"Last chance. Where is it?" The man finally stepped out from the dark corner. His cold eyes stared at Wang with contempt, while Wang beamed hatred at him to his very bones.
"BOSS! I searched everywhere! Found nothing!" Zhu Jiu reported back after rampaging through the whole house.
The man turned back to look at Wang, who was losing consciousness, bathing in her blood.
