"Are we there yet?" Rin asked for the umpteenth time. It has already been half an hour and the complaints have begun. The blonde has been asking that question for who knows how long and it was annoying the heck out of Meiko.

Miku was currently texting Len while giggling like a lovesick high school girl who just found out her crush had asked her on a date. Rin stole a glance at her phone and read some of the messages:

Len-I miss you. >.< it's so boring. All I hear is snoring, snoring, and snoring!

Miku-I miss you, too. just wait a little bit longer, 'kay? We'll be there soon if you sleep.

Luka was sleeping with earphones plugged into her iPod, a small grin plastered on her face.

"Are we there yet?" She asked once again. The reason why Rin kept complaining was because she forgot to bring her gameboy full of her favorite games, plus her phone was in her luggage in the trunk. So far, she was bored out of her mind.

Meiko gripped the steering wheel tightly as she glared at the cars in front of her. There was a traffic jam going on and it's frustrating. Her patience is wearing thin and she's going to murder someone at this rate. Preferably a certain blonde or the idiot that caused this.

"Shaddup!" Len screeched from his spot, "Just 'cause your girlfriend won't pick up the phone or reply to your texts doesn't mean that she hates you! It also doesn't mean to check mine either!" He was currently scolding Mikuo for whining about nonsense since the trip had begun.

It was getting annoying and Len was going to rip his head off. "But I was curious! Blame it on that!"

"Ever heard of 'Curious Kills the Cat'?" The blonde sneered.

A/N: For those of you who know the saying above, is that correct?

Mikuo stared dumbfounded at the statement, "Curious kills the what?"

"The Cat. Curious Kills the Cat. Gosh, how did you even make it to college without knowing this?" Len rolled his eyes. Is he seriously one of the smartest students in VocaHigh? I deserve all those awards on his shelf. Len thought bitterly. He's even more dumber than Miku. Gasp. I'm sorry, honey! Don't kill me, please!

"Oh! I know! Isn't it related to Greek Mythology? Pan...Pand..." Mikuo tapped his chin as he thought of the name. Once he got it, he snapped his fingers, "Panda's Box? Is that close to it?"

This time, Kaito rolls his eyes from his position as the driver. These idiots he thought. He checked his GPS to see how many more miles are needed to arrive at their destination. When he finally found it, he turned around to tell the boys, who were currently pulling each other's cheeks.

Kaito sighed exasperatedly. He then decided to call Meiko and tell her instead,

"Hello? Kaito?"

"Mmhmm. I need to tell you something. It's about how many more miles we have to cover."

"Really? How much? 10? 15?" She suggested, "Please say it's lower than that."

"Nope. But kinda close." Kaito took a deep breath before continuing, "About 25 miles or more."

"..." Silence filled the other line and Kaito got worried. He began saying 'hello?' or 'Meiko, you there?' To see if she'll respond. After what took about an hour, she yelled, nearly damaging his ears and making him deaf. Literally.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WE HAVE 25 MILES UNTIL WE ARRIVE AT VOCAUNIVERSITY?!"

He brought his phone away from his ears and checked to see if they're working or not. The pitch in her screech was just terrifying even though she has a lower voice than the other girls. He brung back his device, "Meiko. I love you and all, but can you please restrict yourself from screaming on the phone?! I think my ears are bleeding, women!"

He heard giggles and his anger subsided at the sound. "I'm sorry, Kai. I'm just frustrated right now. Rin keeps complaining and Miku's constant cooing annoys me. Also the fact that whenever a new message pops up, an annoying 'ding!' comes with it." She explains.

"I swear, I'm going to post a campaign to take those stupid little rings off phones forever. Just they wait." She muttered they last part and Kaito could've sworn he heard hands rubbing together. Plus an evil laugh.

"What about Luka? I've just noticed that you didn't complain about her,"Kaito questions.

"Luka's okay, but her music scares me. She has such bad taste. Especially for a teen like her." Meiko gasps, "Please don't tell her that! She'll kill me if she finds out!"

A/N: Mei/MeiMei is Meiko's nickname while Kai/KaiKai is his nickname. I'm sorry if you think it's a typo or autocorrection but it's just their nicknames. Also, if you think the names are weird, then I'm sorry. >~< I tried. There are ones for the others too, but that will be mentioned in the next chapters or later.

Kaito chuckles, "Alright. I won't tell her."

"Promise?"

"Yes, Mei."

"You sure?"

"Mmhmm. Just like the time when I said I'll stay with you forever and get married in the future." Kaito states casually.

"Jeez, shaddup will you!" On the other line, he could clearly see that she's blushing furiously. "Ooh! The traffic jam is over! Woohoo!" Kaito looks up and sees that it's true. He glances over his shoulder to see the boys sleeping.

That's when he noticed that Gakupo isn't there and Miku is instead. She's leaning on his shoulder and that's also when her realized they must've switched places.

He looks upfront and spots Gakupo getting into the girl's car. That idiot. He shakes his head while chuckling softly. He puts the engine to drive and proceeds to continue the trip.

"Finally an update!" Is probably what you readers are saying right after reading this. I'm sorry for not posting a chapter in a while. STAAR tests are coming up and so are my final exams. I had to go on hiatus due to my parents saying I have to keep studying and not get distracted.

Hopefully you like this update, and I'll be seeing you soon! Thanks for being patient with me! ^-^
