They all go to bed and wake up the next morning and eat breakfast. Emily ignores her mom while her mom ignores her too.

Taylor: Look I know you guys are in a little fight but seriously talk!
Bryce: Ya what can be so bad?

✨ The mom's name is Wendy ✨

Wendy: You guys have an arranged marriage when you're both 21
Emily-Bryce: WAIT WHAT?
Wendy: I've tried telling you guys but I never can get it out. Bryce's dad is the head of a mafia and when Emily turns 21 he wants you guys to get married and run the Mafia.

Bryce: Can you fake it?
Wendy: No he wants you guys to have kids and trust me he will DNA test to see.
Taylor: Why? Why tell us now when Emily is almost 21?
Wendy: I don't know
Emily: What happens if we don't get married?
Wendy: That I don't know because no one has ever disobeyed him.
Bryce: Does my mom know?
Wendy: Yes! She does and she wasn't gonna plan on telling you until I told Emily
Bryce: Why tell us now?
Emily: I'm in a good healthy relationship right now I'm not ruining it. I'm happy and you should be happy for me too

Emily walks upstairs and calls Zack.

Bryce: Why now?
Wendy: Because I I just couldn't tell my baby girl is gonna be in a mafia!
Taylor: I'm gonna go talk to Em.
Bryce: I'm coming too.

They go to Emily's room while Emily's phone goes to voicemail.

Emily: What do you want?
Taylor: I want you to know I never knew about this.
Bryce: I didn't know either.
Emily: I know you didn't because you wouldn't want me to date your best friend.
Taylor: Not just that Em I wouldn't want you guys to break up and then it would feel weird because I would have to hang out with you guys at different times.
Bryce: True but I don't want to make things awkward. I'm gonna go get some white claws for later

Bryce takes Taylor's car to the liquor store. Meanwhile Emily gets ahold of Zack and tells him all about it.

        ✅ Phone call w/ Zack✅

Zack: I knew this was coming!
Emily: What do you mean " I knew this was coming"? Did you know?
Zack: Yes because I asked your mom if I could ask you out and she no and told me the situation.
That's why my mom took me away because she didn't want me mixed in with your mom's agreement.
Emily: How come you knew and never told me!.... Wait my mom said you were sent away because you were caught up with some bad people!
Zack: What no! Of course not! I'm sorry I never told you I just thought you knew and I never brought it up.
Emily: Well I don't care about my 21st birthday and I'm staying with you because I love you and nobody's dad is gonna come in the way of us! I love you and please don't keep things from me.
Zack: I love you too and I won't.... I miss you! I want you to be laying in my arms!
Emily: I know me too but we're visiting family and it'll be over and then we can cuddle all you want!
Zack: Okay well I'm gonna go moms calling me down.
Emily: okay bye love you! 😘
Zack: Love you too! 😘

       🛑 End of phone call 🛑

Emily goes downstairs and finds her mom on the phone arguing with someone.

Wendy: No I won't let that happen and you come get me but don't you dare touch her do you hear m-.... Hello?..... Hello?
Emily: Mom who are you talking too?
Wendy: Oh nobody honey everything's fine and handled
Emily: Mom?
Taylor: Uh hey mom the roast you wanted out isn't in the freezer.
Wendy: Okay I'll go to the store later and get one.

Wendy walks away while Emily looks confused at Taylor.

Taylor: What?
Emily: You didn't hear her arguing with that person?
Taylor: No but it's probably nobody to worry about now let's go surprise mom with a lovely lunch and when I mean surprise I mean you do the cooking
Emily: Mhm still at the " let's take credit for doing nothing!" Stage.
Taylor: Can you make brownies!
Emily: Sure!

They get in the car and next thing you know this semi comes out of nowhere and hits them.
