More Than One Chance

pt. 47

After the nurse leaves Emily lays down and drifts to sleep. When she wakes up the guys are gone and someone starts walking through the door.

Jaden: Good your up.
Emily: Jay?
Jaden: Yep!
Emily: What are you doing here?

Nessa walks in the room from the bathroom and runs to Emily and hugs her.

Nessa: About time. Taylor said this is your second time in here.
Emily: Yeah. I don't know what happened?
Jaden: Well I'm glad your okay.
Nessa: I got a little something for you at home.
Emily: What?
Nessa: You have to wait until you go home.
Emily: Fine.
Nessa: I'm gonna go ask when you can go home.

Nessa leaves and Jaden sits next to Emily's bed in a chair watching tv.

Emily: Do you know why Nessa was doing all those dares last night?
Jaden: Which ones?
Emily: Come on don't be stupid all the ones we had to together.
Jaden: I have no clue.
Emily: Fine.

Emily swings her legs over the side of the bed and Jaden jumps up and stops her from moving.

Jaden: What are you doing?
Emily: I'm not on bed rest I need to pee.
Jaden: Okay.

Jaden sits back down and Emily walks to the bathroom with her IV thing. Nessa comes back when Emily is in the bathroom. While Emily is in the bathroom she looks at her body in the mirror. Once she gets done she goes back to the room and sits back down.

Nessa: The doctor wants to keep you overnight.
Emily: Great.
Nessa: We can stay if you want?
Emily: No it's fine. Go home and get some proper sleep.
Jaden: You sure?
Emily: Nope.
Nessa: I'm staying.
Emily: No go home.
Jaden: Your not changing her mind.
Emily: Yeah I know.

Once the nurse comes in again and checks over Emily she gets some pillows and blankets for Nessa and Jaden and gets the pullout couch ready for them. Once she's done that she leaves.

Nessa: I need to go drop this mixtape off at the studio. I'm gonna swing home and get all of us down clothes.
Jaden: Okay do you want me to come with?
Nessa: No it's okay.
Emily: Just go I'll be fine until you get back.

They leave and the nurse brings Emily dinner and she eats. Once she's done her phone starts ringing.

         ✅ On phone call
Emily: Hello?
Christian: Are you okay?
Emily: What do you want? I could turn you in right now.
Christian: I want to know if your okay?
Emily: Why? Stop stocking me. Why can't you be normal and become friends with me then move on.. oh wait that's not gonna happen!
Christian: I have something to confess. I never stopped watching you.
Emily: Kinda figured.
Christian: But I also have some good pictures and videos of you and Jaden Soo.
Emily: I also have a restraining order and I'm breaking it right now by talking to you.
Christian: Yeah I know about that too. I just don't care. You care about me you just don't want to admit.
Emily: I really liked you , you know but that's never gonna happen now Soo. Get over it.
Christian: Why not? It can still happen. You know if you don't care about me then why haven't you hung up the phone or called for someone?
Emily: Your right I do care but I won't ever give you what you want.
Christian: Let me guess you want Blake or Josh?
Emily: Neither.
Christian: I've seen some of the comments on Vinnie's videos. Do you ever wonder?
Emily: Ew no! He's a friend and I don't see him more than that.
Christian: I'll keep in touch. Bye my baby!

        🛑 Off phone call 🛑

Emily lays back and covers her face with her arms. Suddenly the door opens and closes. She sits up real quick and sees...

Emily: What the hell!
Christian: Oh come on I just wanted to see you.
Emily: Get out!
Christian: I will as soon as I know your okay.
Emily: Okay I'm fine leave before someone sees you and you get caught then your fucked.
Christian: I have someone keeping an eye out.
Emily: Leave please. I don't have the power to fight with you right now.
Christian: You have a concussion?
Emily: Yes why?
Christian: I can tell.
Emily: Leave!

Emily goes to reach for her phone but as soon as she starts reaching Christian is already hovering over her hanging her arms above her head.

Emily: Christian please just leave. Nessa and Jaden should be back.
Christian: I needed to see you baby.
Emily: I'm not yours.

Christian leans in and bites her earlobe.

Emily: Christian stop.
Christian: I'll get you one day baby just got wait.

Christian leans away and leaves the room. After he leaves Emily sits back up and pulls out her phone and calls Nessa. When she calls it goes to voice mail so she calls Jaden.

             ✅ Phone call ✅

Jaden: Yes?
Emily: Can you come back up please?
( Nessa: can you tell her my phone died )
Jaden: Nessa's phone died but I can come back up.
Nessa: What's wrong? You seem like your gonna cry.
Emily: Christian..
Jaden: I'm coming up.
Nessa: My music can wait were coming back up.

              🛑 End of call 🛑

About 5 minutes later Nessa and Jaden come in the room and Nessa goes over to Emily's side and cuddles up to her and lays next to her on the bed. Jaden sits on the chair he was on.

The next day after they do everything and Emily gets home.

Nessa: I'm gonna go to the studio they have been asking me for a while now.
Emily: Okay. I'm gonna take a shower.
Nessa: Jaden's here if you need anything. I think he changing.
Emily: Okay.

Nessa leaves and Cooper walks through the front door.

Emily: Umm Hi?
Cooper: Oh hey Emily!
Emily: I really need to change the locks.
Cooper: Rude! Anyway do you know where Jaden is ?
Emily: In his room.
Cooper: Who attacked your neck?
Emily: You wouldn't believe me if I told you.
Cooper: Try me. 
Emily: Jaden.
Cooper: No your right I don't believe you.
Emily: Told you.

Emily reaches her arms above me her head to stretch and Cooper gets a visual of her hickey covered stomach.

Cooper: Ok I believe you now.
Emily: what?
Cooper: Your stomach. Those ars Jaden's.
Jaden: Those are Jaden's what?
Cooper: What the hell man?
Jaden: What?
Cooper: When are you gonna tell Nessa!

Jaden and Emily look at each other that says play along.

Jaden: Bro come on.
Cooper: Nessa is my best fucking friend!
Emily:I'm gonna leave.

Emily goes to walk pass Cooper And he pulls her back and sits her and Jaden on the couch.

Cooper: How long?
Emily: A day.
Jaden: Why is this such a big deal?
Cooper: With her girl best Fucking friend Jaden. You chose to hook up with her. When's Nessa coming home?
Emily: She ran to the studio.

Emily looks down at Jaden's phone and he's on call with Nessa and he has texts pulled up telling her to go along with it.

Cooper: Eyes up here!
Jaden: coop man you know I love ya man but you cant tell Ness.
Emily: Please!
Cooper: You know I can't keep that man. I'm disappointed in you.
Emily: He's not the only one to blame.
Cooper: How am I supposed to keep this from her.
Emily: I'll pay you.
Jaden: I'll pitch in.

By this time Nessa is still listening trying not to burst out laughing and Emily and Jaden are trying to get it going as long as possible.

Coop: I cant with y'all.
Emily: Please coop.
Coop: Why should I do anything for y'all?
Jaden: I'll tell her as soon as I can but please keep it a secret.

Cooper stands up and paces the living room. After he gets up Jade picks up his phone.

Jaden: Your good to talk now baby.
Nessa: Cooper man I cant believe you would think they would hook up.
Cooper: You've been on the phone this whole time!
Emily: One I would never do that to Nessa and 2 sorry Jaden but your not my type.
Nessa: Liar!
Emily: Oh Shutup!
Cooper: So why do you have hickeys all over and they look like they came from Jaden?
Emily: Because they are from him but we were playing Dare or dare 2 days ago.
Cooper: Why'd you let me get so mad man?
Nessa: Thank you for sticking up for me Coop.
Cooper: No problem.

Everyone says bye and Jaden hangs up the phone. Emily goes upstairs to get room to shower while the guys play video games.
