Chapter 5

I woke up on the couch with a pounding headache. I sat up and saw Kian sleeping on the other couch. I got up and walked into the kitchen. Jc was up making breakfast, which consists pancakes, eggs, and toast.

"Hey" I said groggily.

"Hey want something to eat?" He asked.

"Sure" I said as I sat on the bar stool.

"So what was wrong last night?" He asked as the memories flooded back.

"Oh, yah. I...well....I was drunk, and I...I kissed Connor" I said as I put my head down.

"Oh wow, he already told me" he said setting the plate down with two pills and something to drink.

"Oh, thanks" I said swallowing the pills and cut up my pancakes. As I put a bite of pancake in my mouth Connor walked in and sat down.

"Want anything?"Jc asked Connor. Connor shook his head yes and then looked at his phone. This is so awkward.

"Hey Connor can I talk to you?" I asked and he looked up at me. "In private" I said getting up. I walked out to the pool and sat down, putting my feet in the water. "I'm sorry for the way I acted." I said not looking up.

"It's fine" he said not looking up either.

"No it's not" I said finally looking up. "I like you and I think you like me, but why don't we just be friends and pretend like nothing happened. Then maybe after a while....well you know" I said looking at him. He finally looked up at me and took my hand in his.

"What happened last night?" He laughed.

"Haha," I said nudging him. I must of nudged him to hard because he slipped and fell in the pool.

"You are so dead" he said with a sneaky grin on his face. I got up and ran in the house.

"Help! He's gonna get me!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, waking up Kian.

"Really? Again! I was in an awesome dream" he said as I laughed.

"Sorry, Connors going to get me" I said hiding.

"Why?" He asked sitting up.

"I pushed him into the pool." I said moving hiding places. "Shh" I said getting in one of the large cabinets.

"Where is she" I heard Connor say in a playful voice.

"Don't ask me" I heard Kian say back. I knew he was going to tell him. I heard the footsteps get closer and closer.

"Oh, Alexa where are you." Connor whispered. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. He opened the cabinet and picked me up bridal style.

"Do not through her in the pool with my clothes on." Kian said as I looked down remembering that I had them on.

"Oh don't you worry" he said with a sneaky look. "Boys come here" he yelled.

Oh crap! I'm gonna get it. "No no no please" I screamed covering my head and laughing.

"Everyone....tickle her!" Connor yelled as I felt everyone start tickling me.

"No! Stop.... Please" I said through my laughs. All of a sudden the phone rang. Connor put me down and I sat down with Kian.

"So Kian, I don't really know much about you" I said nudging his shoulder.(A/N these may not be correct, but this is just in my book.)

"Okay," he laughed. "Umm, I like the color green, I like to skateboard, and I like to make people laugh." He said smiling. "What about you?" He asked smiling.

"Well my favorite color is light blue, I love to swim, and I love to dance" I said smiling back with a little kid grin.

"Wait did you say you loved to swim?" Connor asked looking up curiously.

"Yah, I do. At my house we have a pond and I swim in it in the summers." I said getting up. I walked into the kitchen and saw Jc sitting down on his phone.

"Don't you have anything better to do?" I asked laughing and I sat beside him.

"Well what do you want to do?" He asked looking up at me.

"I don't know, but something" I said.

"Don't you have to got to your aunts house?" He said laughing.

"Crap, yah can you give me a ride?" I asked grabbing my bag and ran upstairs and grabbed my clothes.

"Hey Kian?" I said walking back down.

"Yah?" He said turning the TV down.

"You know you won't get these back." I said laughing. "I'm serious, these are comfortable."

"What? Those are my favorite" he said smiling.

"Sorry, girl code" I said walking outside. Jc came out along with the other boys. "Bye boys" I said waving to them. Connor walked over and gave me a hug. I immediately hugged back and pulled away.

"Okay, love birds, she has to go" Jc said getting in the car. I quickly gave Kian and Ricky hugs as well. Then I got into the car. I smacked Jc and looked at him.

"We aren't love birds" I said trying not to smile.

"Oh, come on. You guys have been flirting ever since this morning." He said looking at me and laughing. I turned around and folded my arms.

"Have not" I mumbled under my breath.

"Have to" he coughed. We both bursted into a laughing fit. Maybe this summer will turn out to be better than expected...
