Snezhnaya one and a half weeks ago...

It was freezing as usual, a storm had occurred few hours ago as the sky was grey and cloudy with pure white snow falling from the sky rapidly. Barely anyone could look up to the sky, none of them would want to get hit by snow falling from the sky. The citizens of Snezhnaya was no where to be found as most of them decided it was safer to stay indoor while the city streets was a ghost town with white snow everywhere no matter where you look.

Near a icy hill by the castle, there was a hole leading to a small cave with lanterns lit up sitting on boxes around. Only a few were in that cave, chilling by the lanterns to keep warm even though they don't seem to provide much heat when fighting against the cold weather.

"Why c-couldn't we make a-a fire?" A Pyroslinger Bracer asked, he was shivering with arms wrapped around him and hands rubbing against him to produce fiction to warm himself up, "You know I'm not good with this type of cold weather-r." He sniffed as he beg for it while looking at the other who was face slapping themselves. He know very clearly why they cannot do that.

"You know Vladlen (aka the Pyroslinger Bracer), if we make a fire, the smoke would uncover our hiding place." A Electro Cicin Mage, Inga, replied who seem cold too, "This mission is very important, we don't want Lady Tsaritsa to look down at us."

Of course none of them want Tsaritsa to look down at them, after all she gave them the power to become this strong. To them, it was like another chance and they are not wasting it at all cost using it's ability at full power when needed. Maybe this mission would make her pleased, it was the most important mission they had ever honestly so they make sure they won't fail at all.

Or at least.....

All of them were quiet at the time being, with eyes, ears, nose open for any attack that could occur but only the sound they could hear was storm and some water falling from the ice crystal above them. "Have you wonder why Lady Tsaritsa gave us an important jobs?" A Pryo Agent, Aryan, asked with his arm folded looking outside, making sure there is nothing around at all. The rest of the Fatui around looked at him as he was complaining about their jobs. "L-look, I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering why couldn't she asked one of the Harbingers to take this mission instead of having us...sure they are more powerful that us...This protecting of the Anemo Gnosis is petty heavy after all." He said as he hoping not to received anymore death stares.

"Your kinda right-" Another Electro Mage, Katinka, said before finishing when she heard a sigh coming from the side.

"Isn't it obvious? If there were a Harbinger free now, Lady Tsaritsa would definitely asked them to do it instead of a bunch of us." A Mirror Maiden, Ife, said having to face slapping herself again while looking disappoint that none of them had any sense. Only Aryan and Katinka looks petty embarrass after Ife pointed that out. Only the others could chuckle away easily.

"But still." An Amenoboxer Vanguard, Isingoma, said suddenly which caught the attention of almost everyone expect those on guard outside, "don't you think it's strange that Lady Tsaritsa want us to suddenly protect the Anemo Gnosis...Usually she would keep it with her...Or at least with one of the Harbingers..."

"Yeah...Your right." Inga answer looking down thinking about this mission reasoning. "Well mayb-"

"C-could we be more f-focus on the mission-n instead?." Vladlen said, still shivering but now changing his position closer to the lantern.

"Yeah, Vladlen is right, let's be more focus." Ife said in return agreeing with him. Only that when all the Fatui members goes back on the look out for any threats incoming.
