Chapter 4 - Diluc Ragnvindr

"Y/N..Lovely name. I was..somewhere a few days ago,so do you mind me sitting here?" he politely asked. You look at him. He was smiling, but the smile was quite..fake? His eyes stared at yours. There was a tint of sadness in his eyes.

"Ah,I don't mind. Also we're doing a project..well some guy and I..would you like to,well,be in our group?" You answered and added your small question.

"Su-" Diluc spoke before getting cut off.

Someone's hands were around your neck. Oh. The warm feeling was familiar from the bus stop. You pushed the person away before turning around.

"I'd rather not want you in our group,Mr Hot Cheeto Head." Scaramouche chuckled. Obviously it was him,who else would it be.

Diluc took a while to observe the rather short boy. It was like he was observing an object. Interesting indeed. Scaramouche was staring right back into Diluc's eyes. You shoved Scaramouche away and sat down. Thank lord there were not many students in the room. People are such a pain, you thought. This is exactly why you were friends with like 2 people.

"Hm. Not a pleasure to meet you, short kid. The name's Diluc. Diluc Ragnvindr." Diluc responded. He had the same cold aura as Scaramouche, but it was still different. Diluc didn't have the fuckboy aura Scaramouche had.

"Kunikuzushi Scaramouche. Most call me Scaramouche. See you, douchebag." Scaramouche mumbled. Jeez,why is he acting like a sore loser,you thought. You sighed and sat down, and so did Diluc. Right beside you. Scaramouche made a 'tsk' sound and walked away.

"Someone else was sitting here. I believe you have the wrong seat." You whispered to Diluc. Yes, you didn't want anymore connections with people who were somehow related to the blue haired boy.

"Too bad. I want to sit here." Diluc replied smugly. You sighed as Mr. Zhongli started beginning his lecture. Time passed slowly as you took your notes. You turned to Diluc to check out what he was doing.

His red eyes stared into yours. His eyes were..beautiful. You were lost in them. His face slowly grew pink and so did yours. The lecture then ended. Quickly,you packed up your belongings and stuffed them in your backpack.

"Y/N and Kunikuzushi, I'd like to talk to you." Mr. Zhongli spoke as you were about to leave. You turned around to see Diluc and Scaramouche frowning while walking behind you.

"Yes sirrr?" Scaramouche groaned. You thought, why is life so annoying? Seriously, you wanted to badly go home.

Diluc was on his phone and walked out the classroom, or so you thought. Why must the scary people take literature course? Oh lord.

"The project is due, and you are one of the few groups who have not finished it." Mr. Zhongli spoke. Oh right,the project. Maybe you should just finish it yourself?

"We'll finish it soon, sir." both You and Scaramouche spoke at the same time. It felt as you were standing in rain for some reason. Both of you left the classroom. Diluc was leaning against the wall near the door. He was doing something on his phone. Scaramouche walked somewhere else, probably to meet Childe. This day was boring.

You walked past Diluc,but he followed you. You turned around to speak but he spoke first,

"Uhm, want to be friends?" he asked. Your eyes widened in surprise.

"Umm..sure!" You laughed. He smiled slightly and you started talking.

Well reader..how have you been liking this book?
Pretty average, I hope.

You're suspecting that Diluc will fall in love with Y/N and Scaramouche will get angry.

Scaramouche POV:

Another day.
Another day to fuck everyone's life up. Not as fucked up as mine tho,heh. Well shit, Signora would call me emo if I said this in front of her. Oh well,whatever. Nevermind

"Hey Scaraaaaa!" the ginger-headed boy yelled as he ran into the dorm. Ugh, the one and only Ed Sheeran 2.0.

"What?" I replied. Ugh..Tartaglia is such an annoying dude to be around.

"I heard there's a student called Diluc Ragnvindr..he's in the literature course!" Childe chuckled. I noticed the strange aura around him. He wasn't in cheerful mode, I tell you. He's hiding something.

"You know I hate making things long and complicated, can't you just spit it out dude?" I spoke. He smiled.

"He's from the other reality." The ginger haired boy said.

"..What? You're kidding. No."

"Yes."

a few months later after Diluc and Y/N became friends
Your POV:

"Hey hey Diluuuuc! How are ya?" You cheerfully yelled, as they ran towards Diluc. You were meeting up at a cafe near the college. Diluc waved at them as he smiled. He was wearing a black coat and a beige turtleneck underneath. He wore white trousers and black shoes.

"Good, what about you?" He asked nicely.

"I'm good!! Anyway, whatcha gonna order??" You said, since you WERE in front of a cafe.

"Hm.. Why don't we go for a stroll instead?" Diluc chuckled. You nodded in agreement. The both of you walked around the streets. It was crowded. You didn't mind but it was quite suffocating.

"Diluc..this place doesn't let me breathe..can we go somewhere else..please?" You politely asked. The red-haired boy nodded in agreement. He took your hand, which took you by surprise. Diluc pulled you aside to a very beautiful park. It was literally empty. Not one soul set foot on it. The trees swayed and the fountain water splashed.

"Here..I like this spot. For some reason, this place doesn't have any visitors. It's best if I tell you why.." Diluc spoke. His expression had changed into a more serious one.

"Ah yes, what is-" You cheerfully responded. A sudden flash appeared. You heard fast breathing.

"Don't move..sucker." a deep voice spoke. It was the one and only.

Kunikuzushi Scaramouche.

He had a knife in his hand. The knife was on the young Ragnvindr's throat. Diluc was grabbing Scaramouche's hand tightly. You froze.

"Ah fuck..you caught me?" Diluc sighed in frustration.

What just happened?
