They say flawless is beautiful
They say beauty is unmarred perfection
Should we view the world through rose-tinted glasses
I see beauty in the broken
I see beauty in the scarred
I see beauty in the tragic mind of the lost
The mind, heart, and soul are where true beauty lies
Even if it's hidden in darkness
If it yearns to be unstoppable with a fiery passion
With a will to overcome
A will to be kind
A will to be strong
Then let the weak
Let the damaged
Let the defective rise high from the ashes
Conquer this tainted world of false beauty
Bring forth a new dawn
Let us stand tall and reveal our imperfections
For we are the filth
We are sinful and impure
We are the legion of the rejects
The freaks
