I awaken to the sound of birds singing, then look around to find myself in an unfamiliar green forest. The tranquil aura leaves me pondering about the contrast with my recent memory—a fierce battle against the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. I wonder where in the galaxy I am, and how did I even get here? I guess I should try to find where I am first of all.
The intact state of my black robes and armor, and the concealed lightsabers is weird considering I was in the middle of a fight just a few seconds ago. Deciding to explore, I encounter a peculiar group of seven small green creatures. Attempting to seek answers I start moving towards their direction, they unexpectedly turn hostile, giving me no choice but use The Force to choke them to death.
A couple of minutes go by after my encounter with the green creatures, and I hear the sounds of a battle,drawn by this sound, I rush towards its direction and witness a brown hair human girl, with dark brown robes and a hood, and a light brown dress, engaged in a battle with a humanoid creature with horns on his head resembling ancient demon legends. Intriguingly, the creature isn't versed in the Dark Side of The Force, however although it is weak he has an energy that is similar to the Dark Side.
As the girl is getting overpowered by the fast movements and sword skills of her enemy she falls to the ground, with no more strength to fight, I use the force to enhance my body, rushing in to save her. I intervene, using my lightsaber to deflect a sword strike aimed at her head, then I use The Force to pull his sword away from his hands, disarming the foe.
Artemis's POV
Who is this mysterious person wrapped in a black robe, and what compelled him to rescue me?My confusion only increases as I stare at the sword he is wielding, a weapon unlike any I've seen before.
Darth Lijden's POV
Darth Lijden: Greetings. Might you share your identities and species with me?
Artemis: I'm Artemis, a C-rank human adventurer. That creature is a demon, so we need to kill it as soon as possible.
Demon: Why bother revealing my name to insignificant humans on the brink of death?
I swiftly activate my crimson lightsaber, closing the distance with the demon, and decisively sever its head from its body.
Artemis's POV
What just happened? His movements were fast that I couldn't keep up, and he killed the demon with such ease. I heard, only highly skilled A-rank adventurers are capable of defeating demons. I wonder what rank he must be in order to dispatch a demon so easily.
Darth Lijden's POV
Quite the audacity from someone so weak. Perhaps his power came from this intriguing-looking sword. I'll keep it so I can study about it later.
Darth Lijden: So, you are Artemis, correct? My name is Lijden. Apologies for the delayed introduction. Do you mind if I ask a couplequestions?
Artemis: Ask away, Lijden. After all, you did save my life.
Darth Lijden: Firstly, what is the name of this planet, and which star system does it belong to?
Artemis: This planet is called Dytamour, but what's a star system?
Due to her unfamiliarity with a star system I must be on a primitive planet, somewhere unexplored, explaining the presence of new creatures. Curious, though, is how we can talk freely despite all this.
Darth Lijden: Thank you. Can you also guide me to the nearest town?
Artemis: Sure. But won't you take the magic core from the demon you just killed? You can get a good reward from them.
Darth Lijden: Magic core?
Artemis: Yes, each demon and monster possesses one. If you hand them over to the Adventures Guild you can receive rewards from killing them.
Darth Lijden: Do you mind showing me how it's done?
Artemis: Of course.
She takes a knife and uses it to open a hole on his chest, extracting a dark stone with a red glow from where its heart should be, and then gives it to me.
Artemis: Here's the core. They're quite valuable, so handle it with care.
Darth Lijden: Thank you for all the help until now. then could you also take me to the nearest city and show me around?
Artemis:Yeah, I would love to give you a tour.
