"sakiya! we're going with or without you!"

sakiya groaned, rushing to pull on the black doc martens. in the corner of her room, murphy slithered curiously.

"wait a second!" she yelled back, finally getting them both on correctly. she wasn't that coordinated, okay-! "impatient ass-" the girl mumbled, slamming her door on the way out. (not before blowing murphy a kiss first!)

"seriously?" toast was leant against the stairs, glum and annoyed. he'd been waiting for ten minutes already, because apparently he was the only organized one.

"what took you so long?" scarra asked, trying to make it as nice as possible in contrast to toasts obvious irritation.

sakiya hesitated, looking back up the stairs as if they'd save her. she knew they would hate the answer she gave, especially considering it was her most used excuse.

     "...i couldn't find my docs."

"of course." michael murmured, slumped down against a wall. he had been the first one out- surprisingly- and joined toast in waiting. it felt like a million years. and goddamn was he hungry!

"i keep telling you," poki started, rephrasing the advise she gave the waitress every time this happened. which- it had happened six times in counting. "just put them by your door." she suggested kindly.

sakiya frowned "then i'll trip over them." she tried explaining, only for yvonne to pipe up, saying what it looked like toast wanted to. except, yvonne's tone had a much more joking lilt to it.

     "exactly." she pointed out.

in fake shock, sakiya put a hand over her chest with a gasp.

at that same moment, michael lit up with an idea. he turned back to sakiya, childlike wonder shining in his eyes.

"have you fed murphy?" he asked, slightly concerned for the snake he'd grown close to. it seemed they were the only two -besides imane on occasion- that could appreciate murphy fully.

"yes, michael." sakiya rolled her eyes at the question he asks everyday. to be honest, she was slightly thankful for the repetition, as she never forgot to feed her snake. that'd be bad. "of course i have. y'know, i'm starting to think you like my snake more than me." she stated, as if the possibility was that far off.

"that's because i do." michael nodded with a 'yep' added to the end. he confirmed it again.

"...rude." sakiya glared, only to soften at the thought of murphy. "but valid, murphy is awesome."

she was silent for a moment, looking around slowly at the group. "why are we in such a rush, anyway." questioned the black haired girl. "i have like- five hours until i hang out with annie."

"because im hungry, sak!" lily whined, head shoved into michael's shoulder. yeesh, that looked painful.

"fine, fine." a roll of the eyes.

"hey, aren't we missing someone?" scarra asked, pointedly glancing around the room. everyone seemed to be there, most likely because there were a lot of them.

"yep." toast confirmed easily. huh, that's why he was still waiting around. makes sense, sakiya thought to herself.

     "who?"

brodin chose this moment to enter the room, tugging on a jacket. "hey-" he cut himself off, glancing towards the door that was propped open ajar due to imane's impatience. sure, maybe she forgot about brodin but- who's fault is that?!

     "..."

"were you going to leave without me?" he questioned, narrowing his eyes at the group.

pokimane shut the door sheepishly. "of course not." she assured, leaning against the now closed door for good measure. sakiya decided it's be a good moment to add onto this.

     "we'll always wait for you-"

brodin winced, knowing what was coming. "don't say it-"

"sexxxxyyyyyy," she dragged out extra long, hoping to get on the tall guys nerves. she smirked.

"she said it." lily sighed, making imane giggle quietly.

     "damnit sakiya."

"what?" sakiya asked, offended. "can you blame me?" with a simple sweep of the hand, she gestured over to brodin. he stood awkwardly, tall and lanky with hair falling over his face.

"yes." michael croaked, still hungry and desperately wanting to speed it along. "easily."

sakiya raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "damn." she spoke. "i might leave offline tv if i continue getting treated this way. cannot believe this." she clicked her tongue, crossing her arms. "you'll get canceled." the waitress told them without any real reason.

a mix of unimpressed responses and quiet laughs echoed off the walls at this.

look, she did not regret flirting with the wrong person two separate times. sakiya also did not regret befriending them, and joining offline tv.

she did not regret any of this, nor should she because, at last, she would pull dylan o'brien. it was bound to happen eventually. sakiya was just climbing the ladder of fame, and enjoying the view. offline tv was the first -and probably her favourite- step to this.

    so- suck it annie.
