"Drake speaks highly of you," He gave me a friendly smile. He his white teeth. If there was anything whiter than the Crayola color of white, it was his teeth.

I raised my eye brows at him. What did he mean by that. Drake usually never talks about me when with others. It was always about him. Just him and him only. Drake is the definition of egotistic. So, what brought this talk about me into the mix?

"Nathan, we have an opening this weekend for you guys to play live here. Talk of your band has come to my attention,  and I just so happen to be a fan of metal music," Drew smiled at me.

Did we just get asked to play at a popular club? For real? No, I had to be dreaming. We have always played at Shockwave. Never anywhere else. This was like a dream come true. I wanted to hug this Drew guy and dance, but I had keep my cool.

"You want the Bloody Snowmen to play here? At this popular club?" I was dumbfound. I wasn't sure if it was a joke or not.

Drew just smiled and laughed lightly. He nodded slowly and handed me a sheet of paper that listed a bunch of other bands. I reconized them all. They were all major bands around here. One band caught my eye. It was listed with a blank opening. The opening that was being offered to the Bloody Snowmen. It was a band by the name of A Casual Affair. An extremely popular band from this area.

I smiled and looked at Drake. He was smiling too. He knew all to well that this is what I wanted. This is what we needed.

"This weekend," I said in more of a statement than a question.

"Drake says you guys have nothing going on. He just doesn't know about your plans" Drew spoke carfully. As if he might say the wrong thing or give the impression that he was pressuring me into playing this weekend.

The truth was, I did have plans this weekend. I had to meet up with Hannah. She wanted to talk to me. She said she has a new boyfriend and all that happy shit. She want my approvial but I think it was to rub it in my face.

"Im perfectly free this weekend," I broke out in a smile.

They other inhabitants of the room smiled as well. This weekends show would be amazing. I had something to look forward to now. I was glad. It was going to be a shit ton of fun. For a moment, I didn't think aobut anything that was bothering me. I was finally happy. Doing what I love to do.

Making music for people to listen to.
