Chapter 8: First Failure

"Hey I never asked for your name by the way" Yoshiro says acting like he doesn't know his name already.

"M-My name? Oh i-it's Izuku Midoriya, however everyone calls me Deku......."

"Well Midoriya. I want to create a replica of my suit for you"

"F-For me?! You would do that for me?"

"Well yeah. Anyways, in order to do this, I need to create an duplication machine. And in order to do that, I need a......hmm"

"Oh right! I need to create an contraption that copy the dna of cells and then add a artificial cell with that same dna. I have to create so many things to get the actual result!"

"Midoriya, can you pass me those materials?"

Yoshiro pointed at the heap of scraps on the table. Deku nods his head and brings the materials to him. Deku places the materials in front of Yoshiro as Yoshiro gets to work again.

"Midoriya, you should come back tomorrow. This might take a while to finish"

"O-Ok"

Deku leaves as Yoshiro is left to himself again.

Yoshiro grabs a piece of paper and begins drawing the concept for the Duplication machine. The Duplication Machine uses 2 lasers for the duplication process. The laser are shot out of its container at the molecular level. The lasers copy the dna and paste it by creating a artificial cell and add the dna into that. The machine reaches to a length of 174 cm so that it is big enough to copy even a human body.

"Alright! Now that I got the concept done, I can begin on working the physical model!"

Yoshiro grabs the metal and started forming it to his liking. He grabs a sheet of metal and attaches 2 pieces of circular metal to the sides of it, he adds a smaller layer of circular metal and adds the circuit boards into place. In order to prevent the laser from accidentally messing with the circuit boards, he adds another layer of circular metal in which the laser would be placed inside. Using the same way he created the healing laser, he creates 2 lasers and changes it.

He makes the laser, particularly small. He adds the laser into the compartments and is finally finished.

"Alright! Let's test it out! But first, safety is important"

Yoshiro puts on his KPS and creates a kinetic energy shield wrapping around the room. Yoshiro takes a deep breath. He puts a random metal on the contraption and turns it on. The lasers shoot out from its compartments and hits the metal in different spots at high speeds. Suddenly, another metal merges from the random metal but stops halfway. Causing the metal to look deformed, Yoshiro quickly tries to stop the duplication process but the laser kept on going.

"Shit! This isn't good! If this goes on any longer, the cells inside the material would create a huge explosion! Taking everything in this room with it!"

Yoshiro runs up to the contraption and tries to turn it off. But just touching it caused him to be launched back and hit the energy shield.

"Fuck! Wait, I've got an idea!"

He stands back up and controls the kinetic energy shield to wrap the deformed metal in 2 layers and wrapping another layer onto the contraption. Doing this would make only the metal to explode and not the contraption. Yoshiro sighs in relief and falls on the floor.

"Once the explosion happens and disappear, then I can remove the kinetic energy shield. I've gotta say, ths failure was beyond predictable. I had prepared for it and even added an emergency stop button."
