Chapter 10: This is a game?

Deku wakes up from his sleep due to someone calling him and groans. He picks up his phone and answer.

"Hello? Midoriya?"

Deku squinted his eyes.

"Why are you calling me at 11:00 in the afternoon...I'm tired"

"Yeah hey! Sorry about that, I just wanted you to check out my new game!"

"A g-game? Wasn't you trying to create a duplication machine?"

"Yeah bad news, the first test failed. And I need money to get the proper tools for the job, so I created a game"

"*sighs* Ok...what do I do?"

"Download [Lucid Journey] from the app store"

.

"Ok, i've done that now what? All I see is an audio file"

"Now you have to go to sleep with any earphones/headphones with the audio playing"

"This is confusing but ok"

Yoshiro hangs up as Deku grabs his headphones. He turns on the audio and starts to feel tired again. The audio was soothing and peaceful as Deku finally falls asleep. Deku awakens to find himself standing in a fantasy world. He looked around and even checked to make sure he wasn't dream.

"W-Where the heck am I?"

Suddenly, Yoshiro appears in front of him.

"Hey there!"

"AHH-I mean *cough* where are we?"

"We are in Lucid Journey! The place where you go when you fall asleep"

"How am I even seeing you right now? It's not like our brains are connected" Asks Deku

"Well you see the audio just doesn't put in this fantasy world, The audio aligns your brain with other brains so- well nevermind you wouldn't understand"

"I can't believe this is even a game"

"Heh, you still have all 5 sense like in the real world too. Let me show you a skill!"

"Fireball!"

Yoshiro holds his hand into the air as a fireball shoots out and explodes mid-air.

"So it's a fantasy game?"

"Well if you couldn't tell by now, then yes. I will leave you off to explore, see ya!"

Yoshiro disappears, leaving Deku alone by himself. Since the game was just released, it wa only Deku and some npcs.
