CHAPTER 1: My Lady
Today is a good day; the sun is shining bright in the sky with fluffy clouds here and there giving shades from time to time. Sun's rays peaks through the clouds as they pass by, their warmth and mischievousness certifies that today will be a day to remember. Standing elegantly is a school with beautiful garden as you enter its grand gates. As you walk through the gates you be welcomed with a majestic building that looks like time has stopped where queens of the western world would have had their tea and stroll in the middle of beautiful flowers and trees that surrounds the entrance of the school. A fountain as the centre piece that binds the elegance of the whole place, Saint Vincent Technical Academy is an institution for the rich and aristocratic people of the community. Like the nobles of the past it is filled with students standing elegant and proud, boasting in their uniform of white blazer with a grey inner sweater and white pants for males and skirts for females with black knee high socks and elegant shoes. The vast estate of the institution is a mixture of the past and the present. The buildings with classrooms are with architectures for nobility of the gothic-roman style and behind you'll see the buildings for specific purposes designed with the advancement of man. The corridors are with interiors of a western palace with grand curtains and vast carpets with flowers and paintings that filled the halls. Inside each classroom that is designed for ultimate learning, the learning has begun. Yet, outside the vast corridors a girl is running towards the teachers' office. She is late and she knows it, to others this day could be deemed as a perfect day but to her it is not really a good start of her day.
"KAMSAHAMNIDA SAEM! I won't be late again," Min Hari and her twin sister Min Nari just transferred to a new school in the second month of the school year. Their parents are government lawyers; they had to be transferred from different towns and cities from time to time. It's their first day but Hari woke up late and being the feisty twin she pissed off her twin this morning and left her behind.
"dang! I know I told Nari not to wake me up but on the first day of a new school? She can be annoying sometimes, she's lucky she's my twin!" she raged along the hall ways frustrated while looking for her classroom. Yet, what frustrates her more is that She couldn't believe Nari could do this to her.
"Class 2-C, she said it's the last room on the second floor. Where is it!?" She keeps on looking left and right but she feels like she is just running in circles; she never had a good sense of direction. While wondering around looking for her room, all of the sudden she hears wheels coming closer, she stops for a moment. She has to make sure she is not hearing weird things. She is inside the school, where classes have begun and why would there be a sound of wheels coming closer? So, she turns around and saw a rough looking guy with his bag hanging low from his shoulders, his uniform is a mess and his hair is in even a bigger mess and for goodness sake he is on a skateboard in the middle of the school hallway! How absurd, but cool at the same time she thought. "OUT OF THE WAY GIRLY!" the guy screamed at her waving his hand around trying to make Hari move out of the way, but she is just too shocked to move. This is a noble school with students of aristocratic families and yet this guy is looking not so noble as of the moment. She is having a mind blown. Then looking far behind the rough guys she noticed a teacher chasing him. He looks out of breath and also looked like he is going to pass out any moment.
"CHOI SEUNGCHEOL! Halt this instant!" the teacher screamed trying his best to be intimidating while being out of breath and all! This boy is surely pure trouble Hari thought.
"ARRASO! I'll stop, SAEM." He said with arrogance and mocking in his tone. He had his fun and he thinks it enough for this morning. He stood proud and tall with his messy black hair and his uniform was surely worn on a rush. He has this nonchalant stare at the breathless teacher, judging from how he is standing it seems like he doesn't care about the teacher and that he just caught him skateboarding inside the school. He smiled at the teacher sweetly showing his boyish and mischievous charms. He fixed his stand trying to be proper as he could. "I'm already late for class. You don't want me to be really late now, do we, oh so great teacher? Hmm?" Hari stood stunned at what the guy said but more than that he sounded so sarcastic it is funny to think that a teacher would fall for it. whoa! Who is this guy talk to a teacher that way? Cool! She thought, smiling at herself. She knows she has to leave so that she won't get involved but this is to entertaining for her not to witness.
