"Good morning Hari," Jeonghan greeted as he saw the twins entering the school, he arrived minutes ago but waited for them specifically. The events yesterday is still questionable and he itching to get some answers.
"Good morning sunbae-nim," the twins greeted in chorus. They stood there awkwardly not knowing who should make the first move. The twins kept on looking at each other for signals on what to do. Jeonghan being impatient and all, grabbed Hari's shoulders to get her attention that startled the lady.
"Hey, I was wondering ... were you with Seungcheol last night?" he asked cautiously. The way Seungcheol sounded last night, he knows something went wrong and it absolutely have something to do with this feisty lady.
"ah ... yes, I was, in the early part of the night," Hari answered unsurely, not because she wasn't sure it happened, but she felt like it wasn't right to share what they had. She stepped back a bit, breaking free from his hold. "If you don't mind, why are you asking me?" She questioned Jeonghan back who is looking at her curiously.
"Oh ... it's nothing really. Well ... you see ... last night ... it just that ..." Jeonghan stuttered, he did not think this through. He can't let Hari know about Seungcheol's action last night, it will make things worse. He looked at the twins who were watching him with worried expressions.
He took a deep breath to gather confidence hoping to say the right things but before he could utter one word Seungcheol grabbed his ponytail lightly to grab his attention and to stop him from doing anything. He then pulled his bag and yelled, "YOON JEONGHAN! LET'S GO!" and he started to walk pass them with Jeonghan dragging along.
"Huh? Hey wait!" Jeonghan stopped his tracks that made Seungcheol look at him "Where did you go last night?! We waited ..." he pulled his bag away from him and glared at his friend. But before he could finish,
"Shut up!" Seungcheol shouted at him unexpectedly and pushed his shoulder. That little scene grabbed more unwanted attention than they already have.
"What the hell man! Why are you so pissed off so early in the morning?!" Jeonghan barked back but still trying to control himself, bickering would not help in this situation.
"Can't we just leave already?!" Seungcheol asked calmly but frustration is very visible in his tone.
"Already? You haven't said "hi" to Ha ... hey! Wait up!" Jeonghan asked back but Seungcheol's attention was on Hari. She looked at him worriedly but he replied with a cold stare. He did not really hear what Jeonghan was saying, he just wanted to walk away from the heavy feeling he can't describe that he has with her around. He left, not saying a word to anyone. Jeonghan is confused and a little bit annoyed followed him, hoping to get some answers.
"Well, that was unexpected" Mingyu said breaking the awkward atmosphere after the older guys left. He saw everything, they saw everything, and he arrived together with Seungcheol who was walking behind the Min twins quietly.
"Huh?" Hari snapped out of her thoughts. She was staring at Seungcheol's back slowly getting further away.
"Good morning noona!" Mingyu gave her his brightest smile, trying to cheer her up.
"Oh? Good morning, Mingyu, right?" she tried to converse back cheerfully but her worries shows, not clearly for all to see but clear enough to the people who knows. Nari looks at her sister faking it and she is getting worried more and more.
"Yup, Kim Mingyu at your service, so ... noona, how was your night?" he sense something is off, but his curiosity is just killing him. Well cats have nine lives so let's just take one for the team, he thought.
