Light Globe

On and off
Off switch
On switch
You'd think with that I could choose if it's on or off with this in mind
You couldn't be more wrong
Someone else controls that switch
They control that switch
They're the one who controls it
I want to keep it off
But sometimes they manage to turn it on
And then I can't turn it off again
Sometimes it flickers
The flickering is annoying
Its so exhausting
My light is broken
I need a new one
I can't get a new one
Turning it off doesn't make it go away
It just makes me feel nothing
I just feel empty
Like there's an empty void
An empty void of missing feeling
It's becoming harder to switch it off everyday
Everyday they make it flicker
More and more
More and more and more
What if I smashed it.
What if I smashed my light globe
