Soul x Maka (Ended)

Chapter 15

Maka POV

After learning how to use my weapon powers I was really happy. I slept well and had great days. One night after saying goodnight to Soul I went to bed and fell asleep. But instead of having a good dream like usual I was in a place where there was nothing but darkness all around. It felt as if I was standing on something though.

"Welcome Maka Albarn."

" Who's there?"

" No one you need to know. I'm just here to eat. That's all."

"Eat what?"

"Your sanity."
I didn't know where the voice was coming from. I looked everywhere but couldn't find the source. Then as I turned I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I looked up to see my dad had just stabbed me.

"Pa-papa?"
Then he slashed me in half. I screamed and shot up in bed as Soul ran into my room.

"Maka! Maka are you okay?"

"Yeah. Sorry I'm fine."

"Are you sure? What happened?"

" I don't know. It was just."
I started crying and he pulled me into an embrace.

"Papa. He... he stabbed me."

"Why would that be in your dream. He never ever hurt you."

"I know just somehow that happened and it scared me."
I cried in his shoulder for a minute or so. I wanted to get back to sleep but I asked Soul to stay with me. He, of course being nice, agreed and laid behind me and hugged me.

"Is this better?"

" Yeah. Thanks Soul."
The next day the same thing happened except this time it was my friends. Kid, Liz, Patty, Tsubaki, and BlackStar. They all attacked me and killed me. I woke up again but didn't scream. I sat in my bed for a second then walked into Soul's room. He staid up with me for an hour and he slept with me again. The next night it happened again but different.

" This should be the last one. After this you will go insane and I will consume your soul."

I waited for someone like Lord Death or someone like that to appear but what I saw was worse. I saw Soul walking towards me.

"Soul Eater Evans will kill you."

"Soul wait don't. Please Soul."
He kept walking towards me. Then when he was right in front of me he stopped. I closed my eyes waiting for him to stab me or something like that but what happened was nothing like that. Instead he... patted me on the head.

"Huh?"
He started rubbing my head.

"What you think I could actually hurt you? Come on."

"What? How is this possible? You are a copy of Soul Eater that I control."

"You see the problem is."

He stopped and turned towards the darkness.

"I've been waiting for you... Dream Eater."
