Chapter 13

Maka POV

After he said that I started getting upset. Partners. He said it as if we were only going to be partners. I want to be more than that. I want to be his girlfriend. I want to be with him. I started crying on my pillow. Eventually after awhile I fell asleep.

Soul POV

The next morning I got up early to get Maka some breakfast. After it was done I was about to get her when she came out already dressed as if she was about to go train. I mean I was too but I didn't think she would want to this early.

"Good morning Maka."

"Good morning Soul. (Long sniff) Mmm smells what did you make?"

"Oh just a normal breakfast. Some eggs and a waffle. Oh and I got you a glass of milk."
I gave her the food with a smile. She took it and sat at the table eating. I got my food and sat with her.
After breakfast we went to the DWMA to the training room. Once I opened the door I saw Spirit there.

"Why is he here?"

"Oh yeah he said it was okay as long as he watched."

"Why? Its not like I'm going to do anything to you."

"I don't know just go with it."

"(Sigh) Okay fine."
We walked in.

"Heeeey Maka! Are you ready?"

" Remember, Soul's training me not you."

"Oh yeah I forgot. (Sobbing)"

" Okay Maka. Let's start with trying to open a single part of your weapon. As death scythe level scythes we can open the scythes anywhere. As you know before I could only use my arm. But now I can do more."

"Right."

"We can make anything. So don't only focus on your arm. Just focus on... anything, anywhere. For example."
I opened up a couple of blades from my back making a heart shape. I saw her blush a little. Then Spirit got mad.

"Hey what do you think you're doing?! You better not be hitting on my Maka!"

"Calm down old man I'm not its just an example for Maka. See you can do anything."
I put them away.

"Now you try."
She nodded and closed her eyes. She focused really hard. Then...
