You leaned your head out of the window, breathing in as much of the cool November air as you could. It was refreshing, especially after being inside all day.

The raven sky was freckled with constellations of brilliant stars and the soft swaying of nearby trees created a sound that could soothe even the most fearful soul. It was hypnotising, comforting even.

The rest of the world seemed to almost melt away while you were in this happy bubble, a soft breeze nipping at your flushed cheeks.

You startled as a pair of strong arms wrapped themselves around you from behind, though their familiarity soon calmed you. You could feel her grinning, she simply radiated warmth.

You turned around to face your partner, laughing quietly.
"whatcha doing?" you asked, locking eyes with her.

She paused for a minute and shrugged.
"You looked like you could use some company."
