Ella went to the library and started reading a book.

"Of all places, you chose to go to library. A bit odd. Why did you choose to read, love?" Kaleb sat across from her.

"Because I want to." Ella snapped.

"Sorry, darling. No need to get your knickers in a twist." She slammed her book shut.

"Stop calling me that."

"What, love?"

"That! Those petty nicknames. Yes, I grew up in London because my parents didn't want to raise me and yes, many people call me those there and I let them, but that doesn't mean you could anymore."

"Forgot that those never got to you. I never seemed to get through you. Until that one time we made out and we started going out after that." He said reminding her.

"Then it got screwed up and I shut you out again." She made her way up and started to walk away. He grabbed her wrist, turning her around. A wave went through her.

"Is that all you ever do? Walk away from all your problems?"

"Hell of a lot better than facing some."

"Stop running away from your problems, it's not going to solve anything."

"It's better to know your limits and walk away than to do something you might regret."

"You walked away from you family."

"You know what, Kol? Don't talk about my family problems when all you and your siblings do is stab and kill each other." Her face was turning red from pure anger.

He took a breath. "How did you find out?"

"What? That you're a Mikaelson? I found out when you grabbed me at the library. I saw your memories, I felt your lies." Ella said bitterly.

"Why don't you come my place, for a cup of tea?"

"What makes you think I would want to do that?"

"Because you don't want to go back home and you have no place to stay."

She rolled her eyes. "Fine, whatever."

"Excellent."

"You're a liar!" She used her powers to fly him across the room.

"Calm down!" As hesitant as she was, she obliged.

"So what are you now? Witch? Vampire? Werewolf? Or maybe it's all three, a tribrid."

"Witch." Kol responded calmly.

"Who was that girl anyway?"

"Ah, Davina Claire. She's a witch too."

"She's pretty. Are you two going out?"

"Is that jealousy I smell?" He came closer to her, smirking.

"No, actually that's the smell of a burning kettle you forgot on the stove." Ella turned her head showing the kettle.

"Crap." She smirked and he took the kettle of the stove top.

"But we are going out, just for dinner."

"Oh." Her phone buzzed with a text. She looked at it.

"Who is it?"

"Jo." 'Please come back home.' The text said. She turned off her phone and placed it back into her pocket.

"You know what still baffles me since you got here?"

"What?"

"How you are able to do magic. Especially infront of 'muggles'."

"Well, after I turned 17, I lost the trace and since I'm no longer in London or Europe, they can't have a signal on me. I'm free." Kaleb smiled.

"That's all you ever wanted." He stared at her, admiring her while she was looking down.

"What do you mean?"

"Because I know you more than I know myself. It's not that you hate rules, it's the idea of people controlling you, controlling your thoughts that you hate."

Davina and Kaleb were out for dinner when the pack of wolves came to attack them. Ella was walking past the restaurant when she saw what was going on inside. She ran in and faced her hands toward them, using her powers to cause all the living werewolves to hit the wall, in a violent way causing them to fall and pass out. She helped Davina and Kaleb up.

"You two are so damn lucky I decided to walk to the café. You must be Davina." She said warmingly.

"Yes, and you are?"

"Ariela Parker, but just call me Ella."

"You're a witch, too?"

"Looks about it."

"Finding out you both are witches, interesting night." Davina said, still processing everything.

"Ariela, you didn't tell me you were that powerful." Kol showed great awe.

"Because I'm not."

"I'm telling you three! We need Ariela on our side! She went to a school that didn't give her, her full potential and she still defeated a pack of wolves. Trust me on this. If she is that powerful with lousy spells, think of her power when she has the proper teaching with the right chants and spells. We are feared now, we will be even more feared with her on our side." Kol was trying to convince Klaus, Elijah, and Marcel.

"It's probably just your little crush on her that's getting in the way." Elijah grinned.

"Actually, she really is powerful. Not even I could have did that to them all at once." Davina said.

"What does she want in return?" Klaus asked.

"She needs a place to stay. Maybe here? And she needs your trust, she's a bit scary when she's mad. She needs you guys to look out for her."

"Fine. Great, now we have two Davina's." Marcel joked.

"Hey!" Davina shouted.

"Quit your 'heys' and tell her she can stay." Klaus said, wanting to get out of the conversation.
