In another corner of the world, there rested a large and isolated castle. No ordinary person would dare to enter it out of fear, but it was not unoccupied. In this part of Nyranya the boom of thunder is always heard and a flash of lightning can always be seen. The crash of waves hitting the castle's border walls along the coast can be heard on the rare occasion where the thunder can't be heard. The waves rise tall enough to knock over trees with the strongest and deepest roots, and they already had done so. Thanks to the waves, thunder, and lightning, this isolated section of Nyranya was labeled as no-man's land. Only darkness and those that thrive in it can survive here, and they do. One creature, whom the world never cared to give a name, lived in this land among the marauders and the murderers who had run to this coast in hopes of escaping persecution. There was only one problem: She was no thief and she was no murderer. She just lived amongst them in order to stay alive. By nothing more than a series of miracles, this girl had risen to the top and by the time she was an adult the criminals that raised her began to listen to her word as if she were a Messiah to them or there was some prophecy about her. They gave her the castle and they gave her their loyalty without her even having to take it for herself, or at least that was how it seemed. Looking back on it, she realized it was because she possessed a power that none of the others had. She was stronger than any mortal. She was faster than them too. She had the ability to draw in another human being just by locking eyes with them. She also had a set of fangs so sharp they could pierce almost any mammal's throat.

She was a vampire, youngest and last of her kind. The others were murdered by men in pitchforks who were afraid of what they did not understand and couldn't control. It started off with her being the last child of her kind. Then she became the last vampire child in the last vampire village, then the last vampire altogether. She was all alone in the world with nobody to understand her pain or her suffering. She was alone and afraid with no person or place to run to, so she came to no man's land, otherwise known as Azov by those who had managed to settle there. There the inhabitants and civilians, who were mainly people who fled their homes to escape execution for something as little as stealing a loaf of bread to feed themselves or their child, had provided her with sanctuary. Those types of civilians welcomed her with open arms and helped her regain herself after she had lost everything else in which she loved. When she was ready, they handed her a throne so she could use the gift and curse that came with being a vampire. They also gave her a name; Emery. The name meant powerful ruler and her subjects believed it to be fitting for her. She accepted both gifts graciously and in return made a promise to those who helped her. She promised to create a world where they would be welcome and she promised to make sure they were able to live their lives comfortably. She so far has kept her promise. She expanded her control from the West coast of Nyranya where her castle rests to the North East kingdom known as Gonzal, which was mainly occupied by humans and the occasional dwarf or elf. The eternal fifteen year old vampire has control of the entire northern region of Nyranya. Her loyal subjects were given thrones of minor kingdoms and Emery assumed control of it all. Some kingdoms dared to oppose her and she alone managed to slaughter every last one of the civilians while Emery's royal guards, led by Emery's right hand man and woman and advisors, Erebus and Luna, forced the kings and queens to watch in pure fear before they suffered the same fate. All other kingdoms refused to challenge her after that horrid night. She was able to continue her conquest with little to no opposition.

Emery now stood out on the balcony of her room, pacing in a crimson gown as both Erebus and Luna watched. There was no physical battle to fight but Emery still faced the internal battle of self doubt. Erebus said nothing on the matter while Luna tried to reassure her queen.

"Your majesty, I can assure you the speech will go well. Just please hold still so I can fix your hair. The constant pacing is making it fall down." requested Luna with a soft and calming voice as she used telekinesis to try and fix Emery's hair as she moved. Emery ignored Luna and kept pacing anyways. She scanned through her draft of the speech she had prepared and kept pacing.
