3rd Person's POV
The phone ringing in the middle of the night woke (Name) up as she tried to reach it with her bare hands. Answering it without even looking at the caller's ID as she groaned slightly, obviously pissed on who's calling at this hour, and worst, at this moment where she was trying to take a rest.
"Hello?" she mumbled, waiting for the other person to answer.
"(Name)? Did I wake you up?" a soft yet deep voice was then heard on the other line making (Name) jolt up from her bed.
"Nii-san? What made you call at this hour?" she asked as she slowly rubbed her eyes, looking over at the clock on her wall. It was already 10:37 in the evening, usually her brother would be already fast asleep at this hour.
"I just wanted to apologize, I didn't got to watch your performance earlier" just by hearing the way his voice sounds, you can sense its sincerity.
"Don't worry, it's fine" she muttered, looking at the opened window of her unit.
'When did I open that?' she thought as she slowly strode towards it and gazed outside. She was met by the cold wind being emitted outside, her hair flowing along with it as the moon howled.
"Did Auntie watched?" he asked as it made (Name) speechless.
"No" she plainly answered, looking down as she made an eye contact with a person who is hiding near the trash bin. She stared at him in horror, the hidden feeling of shock and terror was building inside her that it could burst anytime.
'No. No, why is he here? No, no. I need to call Mom' even though she wanted to do it, her body isn't responding to any of the alert she was having. Her eyes trembled as her body can't even move an inch as if it was glued on the floor.
"Hello (Name)? Are you still there?" her brother asked repeatedly as she tried to avert her eyes away from the boy gazing towards her.
"Huh? Ah, yes, I am. Are you saying something?" she asked, trying to shook off the fear and eerie feeling that was almost leaving her breathless.
"I said Hakkai wanted to see you" he mumbled making (Name) stop for a while, spacing out as soon as she heard his name.
"I bet you're either blushing or fidgety right now" her brother laughed on the other line.
"Oh shut up" feeling the heat run up to her face as she tried her best to hide the happiness that she was feeling.
"You owe me one incase you got back together" she hoped, she really hoped that would happen.
"I'm ending the call now, take a rest okay? Good night" that was the last thing he said before the beeping sound of the call rung.
She hurriedly ran towards the open window of her unit as soon as the call ended. The figure she saw earlier was gone, the only thing that was left on that place was the trash bin that was owned by her other neighbors. She picked her phone up, trying to contact her mother as a knock on the door was heard.
She looked over at her door, trying to contemplate whether should she open the door or wait for it to stop.
"(Name)? Are you there?" that was the cue that made her open it.
"Kawata-san?" the voice outside was her brother's acquaintance. Kawata Nahoya. They have been neighbors for almost 2 years.
She stepped towards the door as she twisted it, meeting Nahoya's face being blocked by a bouquet of flowers.
"Did I disturb your conversation with Mitsuya?" he asked as his usual expression didn't leave his face.
"No, that's not it. We just finished talking" she answered, bowing lightly indicating her greeting to the older.
"Ah, this thing has been at your door for a while now" he added as he handed the thing to her.
"Your admirer must like you that much huh?" he smiled as he turned his back at her, leaving her frozen figure, still staring at the bouquet on her hands.
She didn't know how to react. Should she be happy? Or scared? The face of the boy that has been watching her from the window was playing on her mind while she dialed her mother's number, hoping to answer it immediately as her hands trembled. Feeling eyes staring at her as she stayed on her spot.
"Hello (Name)? Do you need some--" (Name) immediately cutted her mother off.
"Mom, can I stay there for a while?" Aika stopped on stamping some paperworks on her table, worry starting to build inside her. Her daughter haven't asked her something like this for the past 4 years, even in holidays, she won't go home even if Aika insisted.
"Did something happen?" her voice was soothing and calming, hoping she would get an answer from her panicked daughter.
"Mom, he is here. He is here, he's watching me"
