Mitch pov

Mitch entered his house, expecting his dad to be there to yell at him. He was surprised when only his mom was there watching TV, his dad not in sight.

"Hi mom, where's dad?" he asked, putting his backpack on the side on the hanger and closing the door.
"Oh, he had some Alpha buisness to attend to, don't worry." She replied, returning back to her show. Mitch sighed in relief and quickly went up to his bedroom to complete his homework.

An hour later, the sudden slam of a door frightened him for a second. He is an alpha to be, doesn't mean sudden noise doesn't scare him. He sighed, knowing it was his father.

"Mitch! Come down here!" The alpha shouted, tiredness clear in his voice. Mitch got up from his desk and went downstairs, where his parents and a stranger was.

"Who's this?" Mitch asked, looking at the stranger suspiciously.

"A messenger from Lavender Pack." His father answered and turned to the messenger. "please repeat what you said".

"The alpha and beta to be will be coming soon to talk." She replied and bowed, then went to the front door. Immediately shifting, she zoomed off. That was the specialty of messenger wolves. They were bestowed by the moon goddess wolves that could run faster than normal wolves, as fast as alphas. But their wolves were weaker, as they were thinner by nature. Every pack had 5, for delivering messages to packs, groups, covens, all of them.

Mitch turned to his dad.
"when are they coming?" he asked. His dad opened his mouth to answer when a knock appeared on the door. Mitch's dad quickly went to open it, to reveal the two. Mitch growled. It was that new girl who had gotten him in detention and the "beta" she called.

"Hello Alpha and Luna. Can we enter?" She bowed, her beautiful sage green hair draping over her shining shoulders. He shook his head. What was happening to him?

His dad invited them into the living room, where they sat down. His mom came in with mugs of tea. Mitch denied it while sage accepted it and started sipping on it.

"I came here to possibly discuss a connection with my pack and your pack." She started, looking at them. "I have the paperwork here already, with copies for you to keep."

"How will you do it?" his dad asked.

"Maybe by marrying mitch?" His mom suggested. He looked at her in shock.

Robin's face hardened and went cold, until her beta to be whispered something to her. She sighed and closed her eyes, taking a quick breathe and opened them again.

"I sadly cannot do that as, you see, I'm lesbian." She announced, earning a shocked face from everyone but the beta.

Author's note: after this will contain homophobia and censored slurs. If those make you uncomfortable, please skip to the next author's note. I'll summarize it in the other author's note.

"Well, miss Lesbian." His dad sneered, causing Robin's hands to twitch, probably in anger.

"This is just a minor phase, you're just confused. No Alpha is one of those f@ggots." His dad continued, looking at her in disgust.

Robin's Beta whispered something in her ear and she took a breath, to calm herself. Mitch watched it all happen.

"Well, Alpha, if this is how you'll behave I'll be happy to cut our alliance proposal." She answered and got up, starting to gather her papers. His dad quickly got up and blocked the door, staring her down.

"We will make the alliance, and you will marry my son." He growled, using his alpha voice. Although it didn't phase Robin, it did phase her Beta.

"My pack, Lavender pack, does not tolerate discrimination. Whether that be inside the pack or in our alliances." Robin explain and easily pushed past his dad, and left the house.

Author's note: end of the triggering chapter. Summary: mitch's dad was being homophobic, Robin cut the alliance proposal.

Mitch snuck up to his bedroom, not ready for his dad to take out his anger on him. His dad was right, she must be in a phase.  He sighed.

When he was younger, Mitch would love to wear dresses and nail polish, until his dad told him that he wasn't being manly. After that, he never even touched it.
