Anna's P.O.V
"LEONDRE GET OFF MEEEE" I screamed in laughter. It's been 4 hours since we got out of hospital and we had been to nandos, went nutella shopping and took Tilly to the skate park - totally normal for people who have just been released from the ICU right?
"Sorry, you're just so cuddly!" He laughed, his voice muffled my my hair. I threw the house keys at Charlie and he unlocked the door. I dragged Leo into the house and we both collapsed on the floor.
"MUUUUM WE'RE BACK!" I screamed up the stairs. I got no response. I hauled myself off the floor and attempted to climb the stairs with crutches - which was nearly impossible. "mum?" I said opening her bedroom door. there was clothes everywhere - and the same went for Louis and Tiffs rooms. I collapsed on my bed and yanked my phone from my pocket.
I dialled my mums number - no response. I started to bite my nails... It's a habit... I kept dialling and dialling but she didn't pick up. My breath quickened as I slid down my door slowly.
"ANNA LET US IN!" Charlie screamed as the boys pounded on the door. I was sobbing uncontrollably as a dragged myself away from the door. immediately the boys rushed in and Leondre threw his arms around my neck. "it's okay Anna, what happened?" He said quietly still hugging me. I sobbed quietly into his shoulder leaving a large wet patch on his shoulder.
After 5 minutes, he carefully picked me up and placed me on the bed in between him and Charlie. I took a shaky breath and blurted it out.
"My Mums gone. all of her clothes are packed along with Louis and Tiffs. and she's not answering the phone" I said. Charlie put his hand over mine and smiled at me. "we will find your mum An, I promise." he said to me.
"Whilst you were up here me and Charlie were downstairs and there is no sign of where she went." Leo said to me. I suddenly had an idea.
"One of you pass me your phones - she won't answer me but she might answer you. Charlie thrust his phone in my face and I quickly dialled her number. after 3 rings she picked up.
"Hello?" my mum said. by how much her voice was shaking I wasn't the only one who had been crying.
"MUM" I screamed down the phone. she hung up. I sighed and handed Charlie back his phone. "now she know it's us she won't pick up again" I said sobbing again. Leo pulled out his phone and dialled a number. "Leo?" I whispered but he just smiled at me.
"Hello? Yes Jenner it's me Leondre. No,no,no please don't hang up we need you to stay on the line. right okay. Yeah but we just need to know where you are, all three of us have literally just been released from the intensive care unit. what? You didn't know? Well, Anna got really upset at Charlie, went on a little cutting spree and jumped out of her bedroom window, and I fell out after her. yeah we are all fine now. she broke her leg. yes, but we need to know where you are! Okay I'll tell her. thank you for everything Jenner. bye." he said putting the phone down. he came and sat back next to me.
"Where is she?" I cried. Leo looked at me and smiled. "all she said was to check inside the unicorn that you bought Tiffany for her birthday last year. I grabbed my crutches and raced into tiffs room. I carefully took the toy and undid the back. and inside the unicorn was £1,000,000. where the hell did she get all this from? The other thing was a note. I unfolded it and read it three times. It couldn't be true....
"Anna?" Charlie said peeking his head around the doorframe. "Charlie... my dad got shot and my family are on a plane to America for his treatment. and she's been saving up for if this happened - she left me in my own - with a cheque of £1,000,000 and A LOT of trouble if someone finds out." I said.
And then the world went black.
