I was playing with my dinosaur toys in my room, having fun and playing around. Tonight my mommy and daddy are going to have dinner and go see a scary movie.

Dad: Y/N, can you over here please?

Y/N: Coming, daddy!

I put my dinosaurs down and went downstairs to see my mommy and daddy, wearing fancy clothes standing by the door.

Mom: Honey, your daddy and I will be back at 10:00, okay?

Y/N: Yes, mommy.

Mom: You can watch some TV while we're gone, and stay inside the house. If someone answers the door, don't answer it, got it?

Y/N: Yes, ma'am.

Dad: We love you, son. We will back soon.

Y/N: Okay, I love you!

I hugged my parents and closed the door, I looked out the window and saw the drive off into the road. Then I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV to watch some Spongebob or Octonauts, then the telephone started to ring.

I know my dad said I'm not supposed to answer the phone, so I ignored it until the ringing stopped. Five minutes later, I was watching Spongebob: Survival of the Idiots which was my most favorite episodes.

Patrick (On TV): 'Hi there, Spongebob. My name is Pat-Back!'

I started to laugh at that scene, until the phone started to ring again. I didn't want to break a rule my dad gave me or I will be punished, and I hate punishments. I decided not to answer it again and continued to look at the TV.
Then later I had to go to the bathroom, I went down the hall and into the bathroom, when I was done I flushed the toilet, washed my hands and went back to the living room, then I just discovered the TV was off, I could've sworn I paused it when I had to go the bathroom. Then the phone started to ring for the third time and I started to get nervous so I ran back upstairs and into my room to play with my dinosaur toys.
